This method sounds like it could work, and there are lots of possibilities with offers and other types of food than pizza.
Reading comments about how to get the pizza shop owner on board I had a thought about the pizza boxes. What if you offered to provide the boxes to the pizza shop for free actually reducing their expenses. Get the boxes printed with the offer on them along with some coupons for the pizza place and their info. Maybe even look into making the offer a detachable type of thing.
I did a quick search and it looked like basic boxes cost about 10-20 cents each but thats only 50-100 I'm sure there are volume discounts, but with custom printing it might become prohibitive?

Everyone posting negative comments are idiots. I have made money from this thats all that counts. When i checked my first 2 week stats, my conversion rate was 10 percent. lets see......in nyc alone...
The NYC Dept of Health and Mental Hygiene lists 1250 restaurants with the word "pizza" in it
not including brooklyn and queens and the bronx, fuhhhggetabboutit
say out of 1200 pizza shops you have a 5% conversion convincing rate and get 60 shops, and you do worse then the numbers above and only get 30 bucks a week
60x30 = 1800 a week that is pretty good bread, whats the time frame involved for each pizzeria? you gotta meet with 60 pizzerias a week ughh..that is 8-9 pizza visits a day, all your time will be dealing with pizza shops has some drawbacks but sure there is a way to automate it and just send monthly checks and receipts etc....

It was alright because each sign up was unique, they have to put in a credit card and such so they knew it wasn't the same person doing it each time. Now, if you had most of them cancel before the trial was up, you may run in to trouble.
You possibly could meet with a large number of pizza show owners but in the end, no matter how many you do meet with, if they're only getting a check for the percentage of the $30 a week how long do you think they'll bother with you?

Is Netflix operates only in U.S or Netflix user just need to have valid U.S email address (hotmail, gmail etc.)?

Minimum wage in the states is $7.25. x40 hours should be enough to meet with all of them (assuming you needed to meet with them weekly and not monthly...monthly makes more sense to me). That's $290 per week. Toss in a $50 or $100 gas card so they can travel around, and you've got a full time person to deliver fliers for you to the pizza shops. So...$1800-$400=$1400, and all you have to do is have a box of fliers for your delivery guy to pickup from you, and make sure he delivers them to the people who are using them. Problem solved.

first of all thanks to the OP. i started to take action after i read it here.
all i can say, im in germany and im in the right state to do it. i already JV'd 10 partners since monday, i acutally made 15 calls till now. i searched my own affiliate partner that pays me 15-25? per signup. the first campaign is actually the same as the OP mentioned, rent dvds. the AM of the company will make my own coupon codes so that i can track everything better.
for all those negative or calculating ones: MOVE UR ASS! - its the only way to make $$$ and btw you make great experiences with the peoples u talk with and sometimes u get a free pie + a coke
right now im about to print 200k flyers and if the leads convert at least to 1% or 0.5% im in a big profit -200k flyers are about 600? if u find the right one - calculate that!
the point is some pizza guys will implement ur ad in their order list, so u have no extra cost and pure profit.
here's my 2 cents: after u made ur first campaign successfully u can go on for other affiliate programs, so u can have a longtime income. ++ if u're lazy like me,sometimes. u can hire someone for u to do it and move on to your regualre IM business with $ in your pockets

Just a side note minimum wage varies all across the country and it's territories.
Take San Francisco it hasn't been $7.25 in years...

No one's mentioned looking longer term here.
If you send them to your own site on way through to your offer, then use that opportunity to grab their email. You can then build a list of local people who, just for starters, you know like movies and free stuff. Think a bit laterally and you could think of tons of other products/offers that might interest them....
You also have the opportunity to approach other local businesses with your list, and work out deals with them directly to market to those people. The possibilities for this are endless!
Even with a modest or low conversion on the pizza method, you've built a list AND made some money while doing it, with opportunity to make more in the future.
One more tip, if the copy of the flyer specifically targets people by saying something like "special offer for <yourtown> or <nameofbusiness customers> you'll get better conversions.
