This is true although I wouldn't overlook just buying Static Residential Proxies for each phone. As long as you replace high fraud score proxies often its usually good enough for socials.

Much cheaper than phone plans as well.

True but 20 is a good place to start with to design the system and get everything flowing well. Once you confirm you can make money with smoothly with 20 then you scale up with your Income from those 20.
 
Just copped a farm of 20 devices too (SM-G988), and yeah, it’s mad hard to find info on this stuff. I’ll stay tuned for any updates.

If you dilute the proxies over 3 phones all with multiple accounts you should in the end come out cheaper with the sim plans

Unless you have some real real expensive providers in your country I guess

100% agree. From pure experience I can say that 20 phones is an excellent foundation for a mobile proxy farm. Many big sellers start exactly this way. And some, by the way, are quite comfortable staying at 20-50 phones and selling proxies to the same wholesale buyers, not bothering with finding new clients etc.
And this becomes normal and truly passive income.

Static residential are fine, but for social networks, especially if running accounts from a phones, mobile proxies will be a safer option.

Thanks, will dive into mobile proxy farm. I can get 20 sim cards easy here. Are there any marketplaces I can sell my proxies? Or need to create my own shop and look for end customer?

Well, first of all, of course, BHW proxy marketplace :)
To get listed on it, you need to get JrVIP status (here are the rules and conditions)
This could already be a good foundation to start. But it's a marketplace = listing where you'll be dealing directly with end buyers.

There are also website marketplace options that will take your proxies and resell them for a commission. I've heard mixed reviews here, can't say anything definitive.

Also seems like a pretty appealing option to try finding some existing private proxy seller and offer them your services. For them it would be expanding geolocations (for example), and for you it would be removing the headache of dealing with end buyers in exchange for a commission. Of course, finding a pleasant, adequate seller for partnership is key here.

Then there can be different options. Some solution providers for turning your phones into proxies have their own communities and various programs for promoting "their" proxy farmers. I know for sure that some of our farmers don't deal with promotion at all and just get all their buyers from us.
 
Create 10-12 Gmail per phone with paralel space apps. And sell 0.3$ per Gmail. You can earn 60-70$ daily.
