Search Engine Optimisation Key Word Usage Factors

* Keyword in title tags
* Rich Header tags
* Documents rich with relevant text information
* Keyword in alt tag
* Key words in internal links pointing to the page
* Key words in the domain and/or URL
* The order key words appear

Domain Strength / Speed

* Domain Strength
* Domain Speed
* Local/specific domain name
* Quality Hosting

Registration history

* When the Domain was registered
* Strength of the links pointing to the domain
* The topical neighborhood of domain based on the in bound and out bound links
* Historical use and links pattern to domain
* Inbound links and referrals from social media
* Inbound Link Score

Age & Quality of links

* Quality of the domains sending links (non paid)
* Links from Authority Websites
* Quality of pages sending links and relevance

The equation above does not add upto 1.

The inbound links will have a much higher weight than the rest of the factors, can not be equal to PR score.

It's not that simple mister.

I think so..

Google's algorithm is more than just a simple equation, if its remotely like that than each part of that equation is so much more. They may be some of the underlying factors but not all and not at those ratios and that simplicity.

Where did you get that from? Looks like an attempt to make the content go viral.

The formula seems to be a dumb attempt by someone to try to guess the formula and make it viral, like someone else said above.

But the list of factors is a good one.

There is a lot of good information presented here to use as a general guide. I doubt if many nubies are even aware of the fact there is at least a basic seo method to the madness of the Google algorythm.

The Google algorythm is at best, a structural functionalism. However, a recurrent criticism of the structural functionalist view is that functions seem to determine structures, with the consequence that it becomes impossible to derive structure from function in a coherent manner.
