Leading internet press release and news submission firm GoogleNewsSubmit.com today stated their determination that according to the most recent salvo of algorithm adjustments by Google, traditional SEO as the current marketplace understands it is officially dead. Several weeks ago, Google?s Matt Cutts and Google announced the releasing of Google Penguin 2.0, which all but was the ultimate nail in the coffin for traditional SEO.

Thesis is making changes to SEO strategies in the long term will lead to more damage to a website as Google changes to eventually punish those changes. Focus on quality content and Social Signals....and naturally pr.

What? Traditional SEO has been working better than ever since penguin 2.0. Churn and burn sites are so easy to rank right now.

My white hat sites seem to be taking the most damage (2-8 positions lost) so I've stopped working on them too much.

Maybe traditional white hat seo is dead.
 
I think these SEO 'Experts' like to talk allot of shit. SEO is simple and always will be. Just make good quality content and lots of it.

A kid can make a better site than that.
and guess what they lost 6k links in one month. Looks like they are the ones doing some blackhat SEO.

Most people learn in grade 4 that if you want to make an argument, don't use the word 'think'.

For some reason whenever G makes a big change the crap sites tend to do really well while white hat sites following their rules take hits for a while. I've tested this for years now and everytime they do their 'clean sweep' update, crap floats to the top while the meaty stuff sinks for a while.
 
If I were to beleive everytime somebody says it. Seo would have been dead at least 20 times since I've been on this forum.

This is total BS.

given the feedback seen on here and other sites it doesn't seem penguin 2.0 wasn't as significant as penguin 1.0 or Panda 3.3 for that matter...

Thanks for the article. I couldn't help but notice that it was pushing the social signal by Web2Rule. Nice try at getting traffic!
