It may different in some niches but I can't tell you how many ranking sites I see that are either thin content websites or don't even update a single thing for years and Google somehow ranks them high.
A lot of these sites are even ranking on old crappy directory links though I guess age may be the main reason they're ranking. It shows Google is so full of $#!t though when they talk about quality content. It seems like back links must be 70-80% of the main ranking factor.
Anyone agree or disagree with my assessment?
