Well yesterday my site bombed - 4 keywords to n/a and others hit - 5,6 spots. Today however, keywords that were hit 5,6 spots have recovered 4 spots so its not all doom and gloom let it settle down then we will see

What I notice is that Websites with Anchortext links in higher % got hit bad.
Can other people approve that?
In the last months pages won big with higher keyword anchor percentage. Now they are losing kinda big.
So do you see a lot of sites dropping that have a high % of Keyword-Anchors?
Do you see a lot of sites with more natural looking anchors winning?
I do. Maybe some of you can confirm.

My site that got tanked had 50% naked url and 25% long tail anchor text. Obviously, it could be a whole host of other factors, but in my case this isn't the case.

interesting. Actually I still do see pages rank with high keyword-anchor%. Lets see when the Update settles down.
It may also be that a lot of domains get crawled by new due the new update what would mean we see the real effect of Penguin 2.1 in 1-2 weeks and not earlier.

I read the entire article and it seems like the author simply copied and pasted stuff from his other articles, the usual stuff Catt Mutts tells him to say.
Nothing new in there as far as I can see so what should we be looking for, which you may have found interesting?

I can confirm that this update didn't affect new sites, not at all. At least from my own experience!
I hold the same anger toward these guys ... The irony is that when you hire them for an seo service the do exactly the stuff they are telling you not to do ( example : buying links , private blog network) etc etc.

That guy Sanny Dullivan, he missed th Hummingbird update for a month and only commented on it at the end of September. He's just a google mouthpiece, you're better off reading the official Google blogs, because he doesn't know jack shit about Hummingturd or any other google update, he only talks about AFTER google tells him to.

They run an algorithm that is FAKE(tracer bullets) in the first few hours/days to disguise the true algorithm which comes later.
Sit patiently kids, do not react now. If you make changes to your sites now, you are turning yourselves in - google has a patent on this system where they make deliberate changes to the SERPs in order to catch spammers by their reaction...
Google also monitors your behavior, not only your links...do you use the chrome browser? is your phone android based? are you logged into google services while you do your SEO? Well, there you go, you're a duck flying around in front of the hunters.

actually this is a very valid point, might be some big ass truth in it. My logic dictates that spammers/black-haters are always first to react after major hit to the nuts.
white hat seo guys usually sit tight and try to understand wtf went wrong.
And this is a very best time for google to go fishing and catch few spammers.

They do have a patent on this system....I don't know the pat number, but I recall having read it. They do several tricks. One of them is to deliberately take a website and nuke it to page 20 and then monitor the reaction, if the site is changed they flag it for closer inspection.
If you don't react and sit still, you'll be fine. It's like Jurassic Park movie, remember the T-Rex can only see movement? If you sit still it goes away.
Google is the WWW's monopolistic t-rex, when they stare at you, you stay put and don't move, they go away stealing $$$ from others.
Remember all of Google's content is scraped and they have 100% ads above the fold. That should tell you about Fart Butts' character when imposing his quality bullshit on you when his employer practices ZERO of it.
