Google unatural links detected - site recovered!

If you got a unnatural links email in your webmaster tools, has your site recovered.
If so what did you do if anything and time it took to recover from the penalty.

Please only post if you have had success with the penalty going away and getting your spot back or better ;)

I didn't receive a warning email but I got bitch slapped on one of my sites after Panda 3.4 ... I found that waiting about 30 days and adding a bunch of unique content based on my keywords really helped. My kws have not fully come back yet but, they are moving up slowly day by day.

I got a major site slapped with this.(IU had the sarky email from them)
And got it back by adding content to the site. a LOT of content (100% REAL unique and bang on topic - think in terms of 25,000 words over the course of 2 weeks)
I also took the site out of googles webmaster tools.

So you are saying that you submitted consideration for reviewing your site and got approved?
 
So far the only way of recovering is removing manual penalty by reconsideration. but it requires you to remove backlinks
 
No I can't as I do not want them to manually see what my back links look like, as about 10k of them are from sister Youtube... that would not go over well I am assuming ;)

Lol they already KNOW what your backlinks look like - that's why you got the message in the first place.
But like some sadistic schoolmaster they want you to OWN UP TO YOU ERROR

They can swivvel on a stick as far as I'm concerned. My articles on high PR blogs are bringing in more traffic than google ever did - so they're staying. Google need to realise they are far from the only game in town.

I link for traffic not for Page Rank as their stupid patronizing email suggests. Why the &&&& do they think I'm interested in page rank? I don't even think Google are interested in page rank as the patent on Mr Page's ranking system is about to run out anyway.

I received that email at the beginning of march and proceeded to delete my analytics and webmaster tools from my sites.

then the google mistake happened and knocked my sites off the face of the earth. Now i'm ranking 12 for somethign i was on 1 for for a long, long time.

Hey mate what did you done to get your site back recovering. I have got -50 penalty for two of money sites. want it back badly.
Can you please help a bit as those were my source of income.
 
Yeah, google says they want you to submit a reconsideration and remove the links.
But has anyone had their site restored after doing this?
 
I got the message from Google about unnatural links to 1 of my sites but I took no action to correct it because I didn't have time to do anything about it. I watched the site though and nothing negative happened in terms of ranking. I maintained my rank up until today and I received the message March 29th. Maybe it takes awhile to get penalized I don't know

It takes a week or two to see your website fall on its face. I got the message, removed many of my links (you can't remove all of them) and replied to the message. My main site is still nowhere to find. The funny thing is that my blog (on a subdomain of the same site) is still ranking in #20-50. Why didn't they penalise the whole site?
 
For me, the best way to recover is 301 the site. It worked for me during the Panda updates. Didn't try any 301 thing after this penguin udpate. I think it should help.

I saw someone saying that "Ask Google to devaluate your suspicious links because you really don't know how these links were built."ACT INNOCENT.

They will only penalise the offending page,it's like a dance where other pages show but the homepage doesn't.Always look for different traffic sources,realistically unless you're on the first 2 pages your traffic from google isn't going to be worth alot.Create facebook pages in very closely related niches and drop your link there,build up the facebook pages with fans then you have a marketing base but do not associate your site with the page,you want to make it look like you're reviewing your own site,it can work well but takes time to build up.A good like offer helps.

Go on then....how the hell do you get links from Youtube, let alone that many??!!

Re Googles bitchslapping, if you havent had the email I think you should look at on page too, checking out duplicates (my ecommerce site generated hundreds of the bloody things) & below the fold. Im doing this right now & will report back. Im also focusing on getting PR (press coverage, not page rank!) & will be approaching a few selected blogs with carefully planned content as a few of those links are worth hundreds or even thousands of others. Then I will buy some cheap links to the reviews. Oh, & Ive managed to do a few videos hence the above question :D
 
I don't know how google can footprint your working so that can notify your website build unatural backlinks even we using sock or ip?
