hello folks,
Ive built a large movie database site via wordpress and im having strange issues indexing it.
Im aware to the amount of threads being opened about this subject, and i went through plenty of them and couldnt find answer to my problem there.
since ive submitted my site for indexing, i noticed that it gets indexed and showing up with some random meta description that it pulls. clearly not the one i wrote, I even double and triple check and change it with Moz toolbar.
after resubmitting changes, i notice that some some pages got the right description, BUT google adds a random line to it from the foooter (???)
now other issue im having is when i submit my sitemap (quite large due to the amount of movies), GSC only pulls a portion of pages from there and recognized them while others stay unknown - including the homepage.
Checking the sitemap manually I can clearly see that it contains all the pages i have including the homepage, but for some reason GSC does this random crap.
might be that im just uninformed, but honestly im having this issue for a week now where i cant properly index my site, hopefully someone can provide with some insight.
also my sitemap are generated via wp plugin - AIO Seo
