Google removed the search engine option from my adsense

That's frustrating! If Google removed the Search Engine option from your AdSense, it could be due to a few reasons. Maybe there was a policy violation, low engagement, or just a change in how Google handles certain features. Sometimes, it's a regional issue too.

First, check your AdSense Policy Center—Google usually gives a reason if something gets disabled. If it's a mistake, you can try contacting support to see if they’ll reinstate it. Otherwise, you might have to look into other monetization options like display ads or affiliate marketing.

Did you get any emails from Google about this?

Google likely removed the search engine option from your AdSense due to policy violations or low traffic; review their guidelines and contact AdSense support for clarification

Yes , i got my adsense account banned too which was using search engine ads.

update: for my account also adsense for search got removed. there is no waring or anything.
but when I go to Reports > Products > Last 30 days or 7 days, I can see "adsense for search" still earning.

I read some discussion earlier on adsense forum that goolge will be integrating adsense for search within the auto ads / link units that pop up adsense for search like search box and search results page and will be fasing-out the old custom search engine displaying adsense ads.

so not to worry. if anyone thinks they got penalized or something. that's not the case.

Yes, I’ve seen this happen before. It’s usually tied to policy violations, low usage, or regional limitations.
