People can rank using lorem ipsum content.

Google is ranking based on chrome signals and other spyware. I've been saying it for 3+ years.

Only catch is manual reviews.

Just heads up that site simply spints official Google press releases.

If you're gonna read that stuff, you're better off just reading the official google blogs. Less stuffing, same content, more authority for what it's worth.

That's all. A few words posts are dominating the niche. He has like 2000 posts and wast majority of them are top ranking, usually no 1.

Only like alexa top 500 websites are outranking him in rare cases. Don't be mislead with the download button, it is not warez stuff. There should be long articles explaining the topic.

I can't outrank him with 800+ words posts with headings, good in-depth content, multimedia etc.

I think sometimes More Simple more better? Maybe Google want is Straight to the point what your content is all about. Don't write too much in the sense turn around the bushes aka means trying to inject purposely want to have a long content but don't have value ?

I do not believe all the hype about fixing 'thin content'.

A few years ago, the more words you had the higher chance of ranking. Google has already recently said that this is no longer the case. You can see examples of the issue it caused when you search for food recipes, you have to read 1000 + words of backstories about the recipe before it actually gives you it. It was not user friendly at all.

Google said something along the lines of 'If you can get the message across with fewer words, do so'. If the answer can be given in 300 words then do it. I do not think going over hundreds of old posts and longing them out is the answer because it gives a bad user experience.

Can you imagine searching for 'best way to trim my pubic wig' and then having to firstly read 1800 words on the author's traumatic growth issues, self confidence issues, and knock on effects before they give you advice on your Merkin?

I think your posts should answer all the questions the user is asking about, keep it natural.

That is true, I forgot about how niches will continue to become more different from one another.

I agree with this...I got a tiny 300 word post outranking everyone with there long a$$ fluffy content. It's to the point and answers the question without talking about stuff that's broadly related.

I see some establish news site, yes is establish ones, I do noticed their content is not say long , of course depend what type of news.
if Politics one no doubt will be longer or News on Financial for cast info

come Ecom site, no need content is more on description , intro the product also short and straight to point unless you preferring also giving review , like a short content.

If Vegas paid us each $1M for the fight night I might accept but I think the crowd would be quite disappointed in my performance.
