Google Play Developer account sellers - some are scammers

Just wanted to let everyone know I was ripped off twice in one day by two different posters here selling Google Play developer accounts. The first was username 'Luxorious' / skype: tekno.pub. He sold me 2 accounts for $60/each, both of which I paid for up front and both I logged into and they worked, so I thought all was well. An hour or so later, using the mobile number he set up for one of the accounts, he reset it and hijacked the account. He disappeared and has not responded to any PMs or skype messages since.

The other user's ID on bhw is 'alexpack'. He has replied to almost every thread started by developers looking to purchase accounts and promised them within 24 hours after the initial payment of $25. He also disappeared with my money and has not responded to PMs in days.

Buyer beware! It sucks that there are shitty people on here who are desperate enough they need to scam someone for $25 or $60 - must suck to be that poor

That's why you should allow the payment to be after. That's what is usually the process. You pay after the account has been set up. Then once you have the account. Immediately change the password and number if needed.

another tip for you is always check the seller's activity , thanks and reps etc. more over ask them to show you account first then only you should make payment

you are right..they should check the seller's activity.and ask the buyers who bought before...

yeah i mean, i hear where you're coming from. but also, posting doesn't equate to legitimacy either. i dont care to post that much, i dont need to. I'm also not a scammer. either way, i dont really care. the dude is a piece of shit. he can keep my $60 i hope he buys something great with it

Hi, Ive been away due to an emergency.. Will have his refund to him tomorrow. Ive sold accts to other members here, no qualms, but there was an issue with 1 of 2 of his accts, which I was not aware

Why would you buy two Google Play Developer accounts for $60? You can become a developer for a one-time $25 fee. What was so special about the developer accounts they were selling that they had to charge $10 more? Better yet...why would even need 2 accounts?

I have one developer account with about 10 "apps" uploaded and make about $70/month with it. Man.. Come to think of it.. I need to scale it up and get some more apps in that sucker.

At least it looks like 'Luxorious' is trying to make things right since he PM'd BB... that's certainly a step in the right direction. Let's hope he follows through.
