Hi, guys... I have one question... One of my sites was recently accepted in Google News... It is sport niche and I was wondering how valuable is the fact that the site was accepted in google news? How many posts should I publish daily and how many visitors can I expect from one post?

Of course I will try this but I don't want to publish too much posts, Im affraid that google could remove my site so I want to be under the radar as much as I can...

Thank you

Post 6 to 7 news a day, Go with High searches keywords and you will get thousands of hits a day easily. In sports niche you can bank hard for sure.

mate you really great actually if you add or post a fresh content in your nichie is so good
you can post minimum of 10 post per day it's not a issue but you don't post any copied content, and if you having a useful things about your sport niche it fine to get a more visitors it will not affect your page.
you can go ahead your activities my hearty congratulation..:)

If your website got accepted by google news, then you are having a gold mine. Would love to hear back if you are interested in a JV :D

I think you should get first some traffic on website write 2-3 daily articles and then it might be applied
Start your title with your targeted keyword (must be in H1 tag) and content should be good enough to read for a user, (even start your content with the same keyword).
Need to have image above the fold and use long tail keyword as alt. Use perfect navigation. Use synonyms in content for your targeted keyword, don't repeat same keyword more number of times.
I suggest the following thinks should be followed for the good ranking the site:Original and fresh content,Website appearance,Web pages,Images,Article format.

It is more like sport news website, so keywords don't play such a big role... It's more about engaging and interesting articles...

I'm not the least bit surprised that one of the OP's sites was accepted into G news. I've seen a few of his sites and they are as nice as you would ever see, have excellent content and the on site SEO is pretty close to perfect.

Congrats, xlcrash!

I agree, good keywords are very important in Google News. Make sure you follow all the guidelines pretty closely, they can be picky, especially about content that may be perceived to be paid for like advertorial. If you have any of that content, then exclude it from your GN sitemap.

Nice work @xlcrash you've passed the first hurdle, the next step is out ranking the big brand name sites. I'm interested in hearing how it goes.

congrats xlcrash! If you will deliver great content /articles is more benefical for you. not the numbers. you could post 1 -2 great articles/day.

Congrats op! Are you buying content or writing yourself ? Whats the age of the website and how many indexed pages?

Best regards.

Does my site really have to have original content or can it have a mixture of content from other sites and original?
