Google Mobile Call Only Ads

    Question for anyone doing Google Mobile Call Only Ads.

    I have a situation where I am in a very competitive space for google call only ads on mobile. We sell calls to buyers for around $12 per call. Clicks use to come to us for around $4 per click so about 85% of the clicks created a call and we make money - but, now there are several new marketers in the space, I know they also sell the leads for around $12.

    However, regardless of what method I try I can not seem to get good ranking on mobile and clicks at prices I know make sense.....I am see in the bid landscape that some of them are bidding up to 200 bucks....I am not sure if this is correct or if they are bidding high and doing bid modifier to bring down cpc on mobile to something that makes sense. I have tried this but I still am ranked in about the 4th spot when I need to be in #2 to get traffic....

    I am wondering if anyone knows of new tricks ideas or concepts to get good ranking on google call only ads but not overpay for clicks........

    I want to be in the 2nd spot not the 1st because those guys are probably overpaying.......anyone know what I may be missing here?

    Why should someone tell you this secret if they know.
    Noone wants competitor or completion

    If you don't want to respond with something positive then keep your negativity off my post.....Been doing this for 15 years and I help people everyday with things I know, but won't affect my business......

    I always believe that leads who click on call button for ads ranked below 2nd position convert well. Try to increase number of keywords you show ads for with less competition.

    Imo buy new adwords account with $200 spending for $30-$40
    Bid higher like $15 or more
    Rince and repeat on each account. Just my thought

    Mobile ads are no different than regular search ads: they are ranked based on your Quality Score and bid. If you are not in the higher position you want, you are not ranking high enough consistently to be there. Your competitors are outranking you with a combination of better QS and/or higher bid.

    What is your QS? You want at least 7 and if there is competition, the closer to 10 the better. You also want to bid a reasonable amount - what I call the going rate - because even with a 10, there can be others with high enough QS and bids to outrank you. A great QS protects you and keeps your CPC down against those with higher bids. That's the real open secret to PPC.

    Probably not. Again, a good QS is protection and very often, the first position has lower CPC. Plus, given what you are doing, you want the first position more often than not because there'll be more conversions there. This will get your cost per conversion lower, the more important metric.

    Yeah that's true, people are doing the same stuff with bing as well. These r called churn burn acc
    Accs are available if you need.

    FOr geniune traffic i think adword and bing both are best ...
