Hi all,

so when i am trying to research keywords in google keyword planner it is not giving me exsact month searches but just round about for example they are sayying between 10k - 100k

but i see when other people search they get much more accurate results for example 240k searches

this is my key word planner; https://imgur.com/GLX9f6N

Hi,

To get a fare idea of the search volume, you can use Keyword Everywhere extension. Hope it helps.

i have heard something along the lines as i need to have an active ad campaign running to get more specific search numbers is this true anyone?

It worked for me. You have a lot of guides how to get old keyword planner on Google.

Also, as someone mentioned before, Keywords Everywhere is pretty useful.

Yes , get a small campaign running over there you can stop that after a day or two , you will start seeing exact match searches .

There is a way to do it for free with a little research on Google and YouTube.

I also use the keyword everywhere extension. Puts the traffic number right below the search bar, pretty cool. Dont stress too much on the exact number btw, thats a 12-month average anyway :)

You could use third party tools like semrush to get an idea on search volumes.
