nothing! And that's what they're working towards anyway. In a few short years the entire page 1 will be ads and google properties / partners only. And you can't even blame them (it's their company, they can do with it whatever they want). The problem is that the masses of people refuse to use other search engines, that's why we're here

yeah, google sometimes places ads between organic spots now, like 3rd to 6th. Nothing's really stopping them,they control the layout and can prioritize ads as long as they follow their own ad policies and don’t hurt user trust too much.

Yup. Ads are starting to show up in a lot more random spots in the SERPs. They are trying to squeeze everything they can out of the SERPs now until they figure out how to best monetize AIOs.

google always test ads before pushing it on on first page. it will slowly start showing it on first page make sure you have big budget to keep it running

I mean, isn't China already a dictatorship / authoritarianism? So that doesn't surprise me, but we thought USA was free and democratic and all that...I read that it already works like that in Chinese search engines

I think they are soon showing Tons of AI Generated Text with there Ads anyway maybe organic website searech would start showing after 2 or 3rd page
