Also check to be sure you have been negative seo'd. Something led Google to manually check your site
Thansk guys. I trust my writer.
I've followed your advice to do a copyscape check and all is clear. No duplicates or whatsoever again.
This is really confusing. I read the googleproducts group and they state that manual action is done by a google employee - the staff would review your website before flagging it as spam. Now that's what I don't understand! My content is 100% original and written by my writer - 100% copyscape passed.
I don't think it has to do with my old backlinking campaign (6-8 months ago).
Or is Google just being hard on affiliate site? Most of the article tips do recommend some of the product but it links to my product review page instead of directly to the merchant's page.
Whatever it is, I'm seriously confused. I've submitted a reconsideration request. Anyone knows how long it will take?
It could be possible that you have a competitor that knows a G reviewer.
Or the G reviewer has a website like yours and wants his site to move up the SERPs.
Or a G reviewer offers his services to take out some competitors in the SERPs. You know, like those in the movies where an employee inside a company sells information or services to the highest bidder.
Every angle is possible. But I'm sure you've learned something here. When your site starts to bring some money in, start another website so that you have a back up.
This is SAD! Sorry, for this!
Content do not means just articles - in most cases the manual reports comes when image with no permission is used. Check some of the images with google relevant image search.
Also the rewritten content is worst than hard spun in my option! I repeat this from long time! I always gives the example with searching for "casual dress" - see that google bold the words clothes, Clothing, wear ,Outfits - which are synonyms.Google knows which are the synonyms and their data base is spinner like {synonym|synonym2|..} they made it with panda as I know.
Pure spam means G00gle employee reviewed your site and your content violated their ToS. When your traffic from G00gle reaches certain threshold your site is bound to be reviewed by big G.
Just checked Webmaster Tools' manual action section and saw this:
Pure spam
Pages on this site appear to use aggressive spam techniques such as automatically generated gibberish, cloaking, scraping content from other websites, and/or repeated or egregious violations of Google?s Webmaster Guidelines.
WTF? My content are 100% written by my English writer. What do they mean it is scraped?!
