Google Deindexed My Authority Site?

Also check to be sure you have been negative seo'd. Something led Google to manually check your site

Pure spam means G00gle employee reviewed your site and your content violated their ToS. When your traffic from G00gle reaches certain threshold your site is bound to be reviewed by big G.

Any updates OP? This is really demotivating for so many people these days putting hours on building up authority sites.

Thansk guys. I trust my writer.

I've followed your advice to do a copyscape check and all is clear. No duplicates or whatsoever again.

This is really confusing. I read the googleproducts group and they state that manual action is done by a google employee - the staff would review your website before flagging it as spam. Now that's what I don't understand! My content is 100% original and written by my writer - 100% copyscape passed.

I don't think it has to do with my old backlinking campaign (6-8 months ago).

Or is Google just being hard on affiliate site? Most of the article tips do recommend some of the product but it links to my product review page instead of directly to the merchant's page.

Whatever it is, I'm seriously confused. I've submitted a reconsideration request. Anyone knows how long it will take?

Nobody knows how long it will take but tbh it will take quite a long time. Could be months. :(

no updates so far.

Even my SEO online friends reviewed my site and were surprised with Google's decision. There wasn't much affiliate links as other competitors or authority sites. Even when there was, it is just 1 or interlinking to older articles.

The content were well written without intentional dropping of keywords.

So I guess I will wait for a couple of weeks as I heard from most people that they received a reply from G's review team in about 2-3 weeks time.

It could be possible that you have a competitor that knows a G reviewer.

Or the G reviewer has a website like yours and wants his site to move up the SERPs.

Or a G reviewer offers his services to take out some competitors in the SERPs. You know, like those in the movies where an employee inside a company sells information or services to the highest bidder.

Every angle is possible. But I'm sure you've learned something here. When your site starts to bring some money in, start another website so that you have a back up.

I hope your site comes back up. I had my sites wiped out a few years ago after abusing xrumer links. Reusing content is a strategy I am looking towards as well. All the best

We had this happen once with Wikipedia. We added to a section (obscure with relatively little traffic) and provide
our site as a reference, because the information was directly related to page without any real promotional value.
It was taken down, and shortly after we received an e-mail offering services to get it added back to the page.

Not trying to side track this thread, but this sort of thing does happen on occasion. So anything is possible.

This is SAD! Sorry, for this!

Content do not means just articles - in most cases the manual reports comes when image with no permission is used. Check some of the images with google relevant image search.

Also the rewritten content is worst than hard spun in my option! I repeat this from long time! I always gives the example with searching for "casual dress" - see that google bold the words clothes, Clothing, wear ,Outfits - which are synonyms.Google knows which are the synonyms and their data base is spinner like {synonym|synonym2|..} they made it with panda as I know.

BTW - you trust your writer, so maybe the images or videos used in the site are 'stolen'.

I don't think some mfr from google's team will deindex your site because competition. Will risk his a$$ in this way left footprint for its boss. If they do it because competition will just kick you from top 10.

Check if you have not some cracked plugin (I don't believe you have).
See if somebody do not use your site to create backlinks from the "back door" - simply do yahoo search for site:yoursite.tld and see if there have some unexpected pages in index (if the domain is in yahoo index) - but pure spam don't means this.
OP says that the site is not over-optimized for a keyword/lsi. There have other reciprocal point - if there have a lot of totally different content on the site with OBL to other site, google can take this as site from PBN and deinex it.
And one last thing. Maybe will looks stupid, but just 2 months ago 4 from my sites (new 4 from mine with spun content) was deindexed and all they had less than month before expired in godaddy. Maybe if your site have small period till expire have new player in the internet association - godaddy. OR google mass deindex domains that are about to expire to not buy them again, because the new google domains.

Couple of questions.

1) With the images being stolen, how would g know? Is it because the owner of the images complained to g?

2) With spun content, if it passes copyscape, wouldn't it pass G?

Can I see your domain. Maybe your competitors put negative seo for your domain

What traffic level would course a manual review? Are we talking 10,000 visitors per month or 100,000?

If You have no time for wait. Then just get old niche relevant domain with good PR and good Links, it will rank even better. ;)
Be sure content is deindexed from old domain... as it is now.... :)

Just checked Webmaster Tools' manual action section and saw this:

Pure spam

Pages on this site appear to use aggressive spam techniques such as automatically generated gibberish, cloaking, scraping content from other websites, and/or repeated or egregious violations of Google?s Webmaster Guidelines.

WTF? My content are 100% written by my English writer. What do they mean it is scraped?!

Did you make sure your writers work he is putting oout passes copyscape?

Also Is the hosting shared? Any chance someone on that same hosting spammed the heck out of their website and flagged the whole hosting server your on?

I have the same problem. Today one of my website disappear .... all my products with backlinks got deindexed and now I received the same message in webmaster tools ... I think the problem is related to the backlinks!!!

I'm thinking to remove all the links that I have access and then to request a review from G.
Any opinions ?
Thanks!

Been more than a month.

All I can say is Google review staffs are... bloody annoying.

Why?

For the past whole month I've been following their strict guidelines. Checking plagiarism with paid services, removing ads and banners, removing backlinks MANUALLY 1 by 1 and disavowing them (yes, 1 by 1... spent the whole day removing it), .etc. I've even followed our fellow BHWer's advice - keyword, LSI, .etc.

Guess what? "Google believes your site still violates its quality guidelines."

The only last thing I believe was the cause are my review posts. So I removed all advertorial review posts and send for another reconsideration request. This time I was optimistic that my website will be re-enlisted. Heck, like I said, I've went whitehat. Guess what?

"Google believes your site still violates its quality guidelines."

WTF? The very least they can do is state what mistake I've made. But NO. It just wants to play mind games with you leaving you frustrated and annoyed.

I guess there's no such thing as 'whitehat' in their eyes. Don't waste your time - time is money. Just go extreme blackhat or PAY adwords to bloody rank.

This is depressing OP. You obviously have a fair bit of experience making money sites and even after doing what supposedly G00gle says you should be, your site gets penalized. Reading through the entire thread, I have already decided three things for my fledgling money sites...
1. Not to cross over to the high traffic bracket, never until G stops manually moderating sites (so never..)
2. Make shitty attempts at hiding keyword optimization cuz it seems we are all in the hands of depressed moderators.
3. Not so much worry about making proper sites as much as getting my profits for as long as they last.

Hope your situation improves mate.
