Hey guys,

This is really wtf... I've been furthering my studies and temporarily put IM aside (that's why I've hardly come online here). My authority site has been getting me some stable income to fund my studies.

Yes, there are review articles but it is also pumping relevant articles (600-1000 words) helping readers. Useful articles on tips, info, and so forth so that's value.

I used to build PBN backlinks long ago, but I've stopped and went whitehat - only publishing articles to increase its authority.

Just today I noticed my sales dropped drastically. I check my ranking and WTF? DEINDEXED!

Any ideas how to go from here? I'm sort of panicking about it.

ADDED INFO:
About 100 review articles but 250+ articles on tips, .etc. The articles are all 600 words minimum - with images and videos. Pure informative without spam.

The last PBN backlink I made was 6-8 months ago. No more backlink campaign after that. Also, no suspicious neg SEO.

The authority URL used to be under some government's organization. I bought the expired name over and build up my site from there.

You got message in Webmaster tool ? If you got any message then appeal it otherwise Just change your domain is the only option. If website is deindex all content can be reused.

Thakss Nut-Nights.

Unfortunately, I didn't add my authority site to Webmaster Tools. Because in the past I used to make spam blogspots and added them in my Webmaster Tools and they were all flagged as spam. So as a caution, and from the tips from other IMers, I didn't add the authority site to Webmaster Tools.

Dammit, the thing is my articles are all written by my English writer. Not some spun garbage. It is 100% unique. I can't believe Google just penalize my site like that.

Anyway, I've just added my site to Webmaster Tools and check the "Manual Action" section.

There was nothing. No manual webspam actions found.

You said you've built backlinks using a PBN? Are any other sites associated with the PBN deindexed as well?

@3odly
Nope, none of the PBN were deindexed. These PBNs are of high quality and made manually by me. no traces werer left. However, like I said, I've stopped creating new PBNs. I only left teh current ones and that was 6-8 months ago.

@lilmasta:
Fully deindexed :(

Dammit, this is distracting my studies. I'm trying to find a way to get it back up or something. But seriously, why is it deindexed when there's no manual action taken? Automatic deindexing by Google's algorithm? And how do I submit a reconsideration request when there's not a link to it?

Does the site run on wordpress? Check for malware and spam text link ads which are placed in such a way that they are only visible to the search engines.

What does the Norton Safe Web say about your website?

OP wait few days if it get back then ok. If not, shift your complete website to another domain. But there is 95% chances your website will not back again. Always use fresh domain for authority sites and never use any domain having backlinks from PBNs.

Yeah, it's running on Wordpress. No Malware or whatsoever.

Norton says it's unknown. lol. But it's clean though.

Anyway, anyone knows how to submit a reconsideration request when there's no link to it? I heard you can only submit a reconsideration request when a manual action is made.

if you already added you website on webmaster tool in couple of days it will show some kinda manual action was taken against you then only you can apply for a reconsideration request, you remember the last pbn links ? just run a quick check are they still alive (indexed)

It sad to see shit like this happens not motivating at all

Recently I builded 2 brand new sites with 50 articles each about 1 month apart. I used the same writer with the same on-page seo and everything. The first site was doing well with tons of affiliate link the second site I decided to be a little bit more gentle with minimum affiliate links.

Guess what?

The first site everything is indexed, but the second site only have 25 articles indexed instead of 50 like wtf?

The past weeks I have been scratching my head to figure out what happened, but no clue at all. I even verified my site in webmaster tool everything looks good. It says I have 50+ url in sitemap, but only 20+ indexed no crawl error or anything out of place

You have 350+ articles and shit like this still happen even when you haven't done any seo for 6-8 months. I would suggest you wait a little longer if your site doesn't reappear you should delete the site and reuse the content on another domain to save you some money if you spent a fair amount of money on the content.

EDIT - I almost forgot to give you the https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration

Have you made any changes to site recently, no changes to robots.txt?

How is your hosting, is it possible that it could have been down or very slow?
Google can drop the site fromthe index if the page load times are high.

If you search snippets from your home page you get no results?

@Crewchief
The titles are keyword based. However, the article is content theme-based. Naturally written without any keywords dropping artificially.

@ok888
Exactly. It is fuckin' depressing. I used to engage in crash and burn sites, flooding crap in search results. Profits were massive then. However, I felt it was unstable as Google can penalize a few of them. So I decided to go whitehat. Spent thousands of dollars on high quality articles from my English writer. Each article cost like $50+. Even the review articles are original, not some spun crap. I would purchase the product and ask my writer to review it. ALL content is original and researched, no copy-paste nor spun crap.

Can't believe it just went poof like that.

@LaoWai,

Hosting is with GoDaddy. Upgraded it to level 3 maximum resources to provide smooth surfing for my viewers. I would occasionally check the website load test to see how fast it is. It usually averages 2-3 seconds max.

Yeap, totally deindexed. Seriously depressing. I can't even focus on my studies now.

Google's basic policy: "Any links created for the purposes of search rank manipulation are a violation of Google guidelines

Submit your sitemap in WMT and wait few days to see what is says about indexing. Also, could be good idea to use WMT "fetch as google" feature to just verify that google can access the site without problems.

As the people above said, submit the sitemap to webmaster tools, there must be something wrong with your backlinks, it was an authority site with good content, there must be something really wrong.

Also, search for your site at majestic.com and look at the anchor text of your backlinks.
