Hi, Can someone tell me if this means that there is no point submitting articles to article directories? Or are Blog Networks something completely different? I am about to buy AMR, not sure if it now a waste of 100 bucks?

I don't think AMR is worth the money, but it's different from what google has deindexed.

AMR is still good in my link building strategy along with social media, bookmarking and web 2.0

Go for AMR, that's for sure - it's good tool and also you can learn a lot with it.

Plus, mu advice for you is to try to buy (or scrape) some private lists of article directories. Google has deindexed most of the directories in original list, as they are spammed to death. Still with the private list, you can easily rank top 10 for some keywords and wise use of the software.
