Google Bots Spoofing Human Traffic in Cloaking Campaigns

I’ve been running many cloaking campaigns on Google Ads and recently noticed some unusual traffic coming from Google bots that seem to be spoofing real user agents, IPs, locations, and ISPs. It seems like these bots are trying to blend in with legitimate traffic, which could potentially cause issues with my campaign’s performance.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a way to filter out this type of traffic or prevent it from affecting the campaign results?

Its just part of business, as long as these bots only affect your campaign performance its fine, problem is going to be once you show them blackpage instead of whitepage and your ad account gets banned.

With that being said yes, lately Google stepped on gas when it comes to circumventing system checks, not much we can do, thats cloakers job, make sure to use a high quality one or switch to new provider if this one starts lacking.

I would actually recommend to tighten filters even more, its better to show couple regular users whitepage instead of blackpage rather than showing a single bot blackpage.

If the campaign performance drops to the point where you are no longer profitable I would recommend switching project/offer.

Yes, it’s happening more lately. Google’s using smarter bots to detect cloaking. Try adding behavioral filters—mouse movement, scroll depth, time on page—to catch fake users. Also, use JS challenges or fingerprint checks to block non-human traffic.

its not campaign you should worry. its your blacksite and your adsmanager you should worry.

If this happens to you, I advise you to set up your cloaking more carefully and rigorously.
