Google "banned" me using whitehat SEO?

First of all I dont know if this is the right place to post this but I believe it is, if its not I kindly ask for it to be moved to the right section, thanks!

I recently launched an adult tube site that I have been embedding videos on it with a theme from WP-Scripts, FamousTube to be specific. Have started around the first week of January with a few videos, using YoastSEO to add specific keywords to the title and description making it SEO friendly.

Everything was fine with the site, I actually had the page up for several terms in the 4th, 5th and 6th+ page on google search for these terms and it was actually very good for a very new site which was getting about 5-10 new visitors per day on these keywords organically.

I have opened a Twitter account in the second week of the site to boost the traffic and everything seemed to be worked fine but on January 28th I have seen a drop from Google in the Google Search Console where all my traffic has been down to 0 and instead of generating 100-150 impressions per day I would generate around 1 or 2. I checked also the keywords in several tools to see if any one of them rank and none of them are even in the top 100 for the term, and I have some very low competition words with like 10-50 searches per month.

I have not used any link building strategy nor I have spammed anyone, I have been doing everything Whitehat and yet I get banned. I am assuming I am banned by Google for the sudden drop. What do you guys think that is? Can anyone help me out? I would very much appreciate all feedback at this moment as I rely solely on Twitters traffic.

Did you get any DMCA Complaints?

It's a low-quality website. Google recognized that. And next month maybe Google will pick some of your keywords randomly and decide that page is high-quality enough to show.

This is all normal. You have to give Google more reasons to keep showing your website to users instead of other higher-quality sites.

I had lots of traffic with WP script when I first set it up, then it all dropped for 8 months, then I just ignored the website and did nothing, and then Google decided to start ranking me highly for some Kim Kardashian porn keywords, but almost nothing else on 6000 pages. Just Kim Kardashian. It's VERY unlikely you are banned by Google.

Glad to hear that. So I should continue to embed videos and grow my social networks by now right? I mean its the only traffic I have going on. Which ad providers do you recommend? I am using Exoclick for now but the page only generates about $0.01 per day, or should I change the type of ad I use?

There's pretty much no such a thing as pure white hat when it comes to p--n websites. Those types of websites are always a risk.

What I meant with White Hat was that I did not buy any links and did not spam the shit out of my site everywhere, I have tried to build my site and be as legit as possible with no shady methods

I don't think it's possible to provide an answer to that without actually looking at the site and backlink profile.

Yes just keep building your social network and adding new videos with unique titles and add a few sentences below each video with some keywords related to the video.

It's a slow grind while you learn other tricks about getting traffic and getting Google to rank you higher.

I use banner ads from webcam affiliate sites. But you can also add banner ads from dating offers where you get paid like $2.00 if they fill out some info or sign up a free account.

I don't like pay-per-click or pay-per-impression ads for porn.

Don't expect to make any money. I am serious, like, if you make $1.00 without knowing much, it will be good. This stuff can take many people years to learn.

Other people get lucky or they are really smart and find ways to make hundreds of dollars in just a few months. But MOST people will make less than $1.00 their first year.

So just letting you know if you are needing this website to pay for your rent or food, better find another way to work online. Google loves older websites.

Everybody’s site has been suffering over the past month or so. Not just in the adult niche either. Just keep grinding on your website and it will pick back up when Schmoogle fixes their shitty system.

Well, that's not correct. SEO is like the stock market, for some site to go down, another one has to go up.

You started on the first week of January. Don’t expect much for now. Keep adding content. Do KW research on low competition KW. Long tails. And wait. You are going to wait a lot before you see anything serious.

Especially if you don’t have specific niche. You are not banned. Google just removed you from serp on those keywords. It happens and it will happen again

If you have not received any penalty massage in Google Search Console then you don't need to worry about anything. It's very Normal for new websites. So don't worry.

Don't listen to these guys. These are the kind of posters that just want to post so people will see their banners and click them. The information they are giving is NOT correct.

It's so generic, it doesn't even make sense. Think about it. How could they POSSIBLY know your website will pick back up or that it's hurt from some specific algorithm change?

It's just impossible, wrong advice, for spam purposes.

This is correct. Google has hundreds of other websites using the same template to choose from for the same keywords. If you aren't giving them a reason to rank yours above them, it can be very likely you will never get back to the same rankings you first had. Google ranked you because you were new. Now they have adjusted the rankings, and you probably wont get those rankings back, unless you give them reasons to rank you ahead. But you can rank for other keywords as your site gets more established.

You can see when I first launched, Google ranked me right away for some keywords, then it dropped me to almost nothing, then it ranked me again, then down again, then WAY UP for a few weeks, then ROCK BOTTOM when it saw that I blasted it with low quality backlinks, then almost nothing for 6 months, then it started ranking me for Kim Kardashian keyword which I never ranked for before.

But I gave up on that site right when they started ranking me again and took it down, so I cant provide any further information past that.

The reason I took it down is because I added too many posts with WP-Script and couldn't manage it in a way that I liked it. I started a new site where I am uploading less posts but adding more quality titles with keyword research and writing 500-1000 words in each post/description before putting it online.

That's not how anything works. How would threads on a Black Hat website mean that Google "fucked up?" What is the logical relationship that you see where one would prove the other? Rankings changing doesn't mean Google "clearly fucked up." It means that they changed their algorithm. But, this isn't likely the result of a changing algorithm. This has ALWAYS happened with new websites. I LITERALLY provided a graph from Google Search Console that shows this EXACT same thing happening over 12 months ago. Everyone who is actually knowledgeable in this field knows that it's COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY NORMAL for Google to weight fresh content heavily and rank it for keywords, and then drop it in the rankings later.

You don't know what you are talking about. That's OK. Most people on this website don't know what they are talking about. However, the problem is when you come in acting like you do know what you are talking about and end up giving people bad and false advice.

As another user said, the idea that "everyone's" websites are suffering is obviously preposterous. Who is at the top of the rankings right now if everyone is suffering? It isn't even remotely logical.

This is entirely false.

Every single Google update re-balances the weights, which causes a tonne of flux, this is normal. That said, blackhatworld and people making threads crying about how their website got slapped is not a good indicator for anything. Especially as to whether or not a certain update was "good" or "not" (outside of the subjective meaning of either). You also don't know the full picture with 90% of those sites. And seeing that 99% of people on this forum believe web2.0s are a white-hat LB strategy - that should say a thing or two already...

All that said, you did provide one droplet of value to this thread - "keep grinding".

@OP That's exactly what you want to keep doing.

If a penalty check and sandbox check come back clean, you just have to accept that you got the shit end of the re-balancing stick.

Focus on getting the technical scores up while adding in a wealth of new content. It's pretty standard really - keep it contextually relevant to the core keys, but utilize kgr or find easy low-pop longtails to pick up. It's not much traffic-wise, and it sets you back in terms of time, but it will do 2 things:
1. Give the Big G a better understanding of what your site is really about
2. Give the Big G some fresh data in terms of contextually relevant search audience interaction metrics

You could do 500-600 words with every video, which is what quite a few sites in your niche opt for (think D**plips (dot) com...)

This will pile on new keys and start moving you up across the board over time. While I don't have extensive experience with your particular niche - this is something I've seen hold up across a wide range.
