Google Adense wait time

Hello, I've seen a few other threads on this in the past but nothing recent and was wondering if anyone had a perspective. I am starting a new site that has a large blogging component. I already have about 15 articles up but have not started promoting it yet. While I'm not expecting a huge rush of viewers right away, I would like to have Google Adense on my page if possible.

I posted the code on my Website Thursday (four days ago) and have heard nothing from Google. Is this normal? How much longer should I wait? Would anyone be willing to spend two minutes giving feedback on why this might be happening. Thanks!

My usual advice is to build your traffic first. Once your have a stable and consistent quality traffic, then you can put Adsense. This way, Google will not hesitate to approve your request.

Adsense is not for the churn and burn sites. You need to build your website and make it huge in a niche that you love to work into for many years to come.

My last registration took about 2 weeks before I got a response, 1 week for initial review question (they wanted to know something more about the site, etc), and another 2 silent week before approval.
But my site has traffic, and I've installed GAnalytics for proof, and perhaps that helped with the approval.

3-4 days is not much time.Wait atleast 1-2 weeks, also adsense approval in youtube takes a long time now then usual
