Godaddy is Stealing my new found domain...

yea godaddy absolutely suck, search this forum and you will find previous threads regarding them swiping 'high searched domains' upon checkout...

Godaddy is a red zone for me. i would rather pay a few more $$ and know im going to get what i want from elsewhere.

I dont beleive this. I was just ambushed! I was coming to BHW to start a new topic asking if anyone had had their domain stolen as they were about to buy it, and I cam e accross this disturbing thread!

I just bulk bought 25 "available" domains using godaddy and made payment via CC and got my receipt email as normal (i didnt bother checking each domain on the receipt). Today I started installing and setting up WP on each one, and came across one domain which wouldn't resolve to my NameServer, so I traced my steps backwards and to my disbeleif, the receipt only showed 24 domains. I done a WHOIS on the the missing domain, and sure enough it was registered by GoDaddy on the same day that I registered the other 24 domains!

B*stards!

I just noticed that the .COM for the same name expires in March, so i'm gonna put that on auto-watch and try and grab that one, but im still pissed off nevertheless!
