getting verified on twitter?

You could put a background image with the verified logo in it and set it and the right spot !
actually it'd be a pretty good idea, however you cannot really position it right, because of the different screen resolution settings people use

and what others said, using the verified badge is not allowed in any form for non-verified accounts

Learn from someone who has verified 25+ accounts :)

A. You can join as an advertiser and spend 15k across 3 months (must be an active advertiser to retain verification)
B. Labels and other reputable independent contacts (me) have reps who we submit inquiries to. The process takes anywhere from 30 minutes to one month

Do I really have to pay 15$?

I manage a Twitter account for a rising actor. Even though he has been in national TV shows and films, we still can't get him verified. There are plenty of verified users that haven't been in nearly the amount of stuff he has! It's an infuriating process with no end in sight, and it looks bad on me too! :/

Do you mind sharing why you think getting/providing 'verified' status is a goldmine?

Providing verified status I would assume would be a "goldmine" because its the "holy grail" to a lot of twitter users and no one wants to pay $15k for it. Thats how I would assume he means goldmine but I could be wrong...

Totally true. If someone can verify acc just let me know, no matter if prices are high

https://business.twitter.com/en/advertise/start/ i see some tweeters using promoted tweets and they verified with only around 500 followers

If Twitter change the way they give verified status then I don't think it'll be a goldmine. You have to 'crack' the system which is impossible IMO.

Exactly why it'd be a goldmine - if it was possible. It has to be at best near-impossible. There do seem to be ways "in" without paying the 15k but most/all are related to being famous or having high-end contacts.

And even if it was possible, if/when twitter find out you'd get banned anyway, so you'd lose your account as well as whatever money you paid to illegitimately get the tick.

But actually cracking the system, yeah theres no chance of that, the only way would be some sort of loophole.

Exactly! Paying someone to get a verified badge is NOT worth the risk.

I was simply saying that if someone could find a way around the system or had a contact inside Twitter to help them out that they could easily charge $500-1k a pop and it would require little to no work. Tons of celebs and musicians are waiting and it's embarrassing when their friends have it and they don't.

Join their translate program and post some quality translation and wait for a week or two to get that badge.

Important:
NEVER post in their forums something like 'when I'll get translator badge', 'I have x translations but I don't have badge' etc etc, doing that will decrease your chances of getting their badge.

P.S
I have translator badge and it looks awesome on my Twitter profile ;)
What do you mean by translation? What do I have to post?
