getting verified on twitter?

I have replied to a post asking for translation badge in this thread. In order to get that badge you have to join Twitter's translation program and post some translation in your local language.

Yes also it looks fake using those graphics. Best way is to contact someone who has influences on Twitter. The main problem is to find someone with those connections

Important:
NEVER post in their forums something like 'when I'll get translator badge', 'I have x translations but I don't have badge' etc etc, doing that will decrease your chances of getting their badge.

Do I need to actually tweet in that language?

I have a few friends that are fluent in several languages, so could I just tell them to translate whats on the page?

Or do I need to be tweeting as well in that language? Do you know?

Its a translation program, you have to translate Twitter information to other languages not tweets.

Yeah I understood that, sorry. What I mean is after I do this. Will twitter be checking up on me to see if I tweet in that language?... so could I get my friend that was fluent in Japanese for example to translate the information thats there and thats it its done?

No, there is a special website where you can make the translations. It is translate.twitter.com I think
