Getting redirected visitors to convert?

Let's say you purchase 10000 US visitors from a seller. Normally, this traffic is used to water-down your conversion rate as you implement other strategies for money.

BUT WAIT !

What if you used some amazing marketing skills to turn on these visitors. I mean, these visitors are real people correct? Whether they are paid to visit random sites or they are redirected from expired domains (usually the case), anyone and everyone gets a spark in their eye when they read about money-making opportunities :scool:.

I think it's possible to turn this cheap traffic into profit through CPA offers.

And it's not the first time I have heard about this either. Some wad at DP mentioned it a longg time ago. Obviously, he isn't someone I'd favorably trust...


so lets discuss !

A site made specifically to convince a redirected visitor, costly roughly $0.01/visitor(depending on the seller) in a matter of seconds to fill out an offer. Doable?

Anything is possible but for instance if it's ptc visitors they're tough to convert no matter what pre-sell you're throwing at them. They're just wanting the counter to go down so they can move on and make their $0.005. Some of the other cheap traffic sources could do a little better if the pre-sell is above the fold, enticing as hell... and in their face.

Realistically though, I've tried a number of things in the past to get this kind of traffic to convert but it never gave any kind of substantial results.

Possible but very tough unless you decided to do some Black Hat stuff like cookie stuffing them or made such a landing page which will attract them, may be they will do email submit with poor conversion still some money...

That will stop them.

Then you say.. "Fill in this form to get this secret report that will only be released for the next 48 hours." "You will receive your report after being confirmed by our sponsor"

Timer countdown going... tick tock tick tock.

They fill it in, you get an email submit to the CPA offer.

Done.

Oh yeah.. and what bizroot suggested.. stuff 'em No sense leaving money on the table. I mean.. you want to milk that $0.01 right?

no. That's why they are for selling in the first place. Typical traffic sellers will cut their traffic with bots. 5%-10% of the traffic is real if your lucky. the rest is just numbers on a screen. Traffic selling is an old market that is really just a hustle.

save your money. Learn to generate the traffic yourself.

I now have 5 leads altogether, after probably 2500-3000 ptc visitors.

I avoided the exact strategy of the ebook. Right now Im just trying to capture some emails, let alone have them fill out an offer (probably close to impossible)

It was worth a shot....it cost less than 20 bucks to start up between a .info domain, offshore hosting and my 1st month of Aweber for $1.

Obviously this wasn't a millionaire dollar idea, but I was aware of that at the start.

Lol thank you for your input. Perhaps my biggest burn from ebooks was that nannobloggers ebook.

Anyways, I plan to mess around with a bunch of different strategies with different ptc visitors in different regions. Perhaps turn this into a case study?

Maybe Pay Per Call? As far as CPA goes, that would have to have a near-perfect strategy to work.

Maybe do a campaign of 20000 ptc visitors.... 10,000 go to a site like what I created but is Iframed for an email submit. Then send the other 10000 to the offer itself and use ptc visitors for there original purpose. Will keep the conversion low and might create just enough leads to break even.

Well either way, at this rate, I could end up with 15-20 ptclickers who think I am their ptc employer!!!

I wonder what kind of follow up email should be sent after this ptc campaign is over . How to monetize in this situation hmmmmmmmm.
