Getting Back into Crypto. Cardano?

Thinking of putting a one or two percent of my portfolio into Cardano for a medium to long term investment. Or at least for a year or two.

I was hoping to float the idea here and here peoples opinions on it. As well as their opinions on Cardano good and bad. Of course I have done some of my own research but there are a lot of people here far more knowledgeable than me on the subject and I would love to hear their opinions.

Tell me why you think its a good idea or a bad one. What you think about the timing etc.

Why and what for? This question is rather vague and lacking in context, but if your goal is to invest, Cardano may be a decent long-term play. The team behind it are also highly respectable scholars with the renowned professor Input Output Hong Kong (IOHK), Mr Hoskinson at the helm. What's more, its first smart contract offering has already been successful proving that there are growing fundamentals of momentum here. I'm not afraid to say I'm looking forward to seeing where this project goes next. But make sure you hold on tight as this one could bring some upsides too!

Elrond, Solana, Binance Coin, Ethereum in my opinion. Cardano isn’t that bad either.

Think of a cardano as one huge painting being painted slowly and with precision from all sides towards center of canvas

by 100s of genius painters. We will be able to see and understand the masterpiece fully only at the end.

So long term investment, definitely good idea.
