Getting a Channel Monetized To Change The Niche

I'm planning on getting my channel monetized by uploading original gameplay videos with narration and slight editing to apply for partnership.
The main goal is to have my channel monetized and then switch the niche completely to start uploading original videos.

If the channel gets approved (using gameplay videos) and then all of a sudden I decide to make those videos Unlisted and start uploading different niche videos , is that going to cause problems?

Not as long as they are original and within YouTube guidelines

May I ask why you are planning to change the niche?
If the gaming videos get you monetized, they would obviously be doing well on your channel, switching the niche would be like starting over.

Knowing how strict Youtube can be sometimes, wont it be suspicious for the system if I make top performing videos private/unlisted after getting approved for monetization?

The gaming videos only serve one purpose , create original material easily so that promoters could drive 1k subs and 4k watch hours on my channel.
