Watched it 2 times to make sure I understand what he is talking about. Great ideas.

I have been to several seminars and I wish these gurus would stop saying "does that make sense".

Thank you so so much for bringing this to our attention Wiz! I watched it the day you shared it, but put it to the side as I did other things.

Today I decided to try it out for a product that I'm creating... skipped right to the negative reviews for a few of the best-selling books in the category... WOW this is a GOLDMINE of feedback!!

Now I know EXACTLY what to include in my salespage, and how to position my product.

Thank you again.. I would not have found this video on my own.

Woooooooow..... it's SO freaking obvious and staring us all right there in the face! Sometimes having someone point out something like this to me makes me feel stoopid...

ALL of those people on there are spilling out their guts 24 hours a day... all you have to do is take the headlines for key points and paraphrase!?

take a popular niche with 1000's of reviews and items, it's like spinning 1000's of mini-articles! All the market research is right there, because it's like you're in a huge room with people who either want a solution of have found a solution! And it's AMAZON! EVERYTHING HAS CUSTOMER REVIEWS AND HEADLINES!

This shouldn't make you break through writer's block.... this should shoot you over writer's block from a cannon!

Wiz,

I posted this video over a year ago in a comment to my article, "BS Your Way To Internet Riches."

I'm glad you made a separate thread for it, though. This is a wonderful idea from a master. It can help a lot of people and it was kind of buried among the comments where I had put it.

I am reproducing my own remarks to it here, since I believe they might be useful to the people reading this thread.

(Funny how great minds think alike, ain't it? :) )

Here is something White Hat, but with great Black Hat possibilities. Definitely BS possibilities.

It comes from Jay Abraham. He calls it the Amazon School of Copywriting. Basically, you seek the top 100 books in your field on Amazon. Choose an interesting one, then look at the reader reviews.

If you are BSing, you are seeking to fake empathy through proper polarization. In other words, there are "love it" reviews and "hate it" reviews. Since they come from the heart, they are really accurate for niche profiling.

Anyway, you draw a line down a blank sheet of paper, then take note of the positive points (benefits, features, opinions, solutions, etc.) on the left side and the negative points on the right side. When you write your copy or content, including articles, you refer to these points and use them to explain how your product (or point) will move the reader closer to what he wants, or will eliminate the things he doesn't from his life.

But Jay says it so much better... My stuff is BS next to his...

Thanks Stumickel:

That's a great addition to this thread. I wasn't aware that you had mentioned it in your famous "B.S. Your Way To Internet Riches" thread. And by the way, anyone who hasn't read that thread, should definitely take a look at it. It's an old thread, but it contains some timeless info. It has become a BHW classic. Check it out below:
