Hey guys happy valentines day just thought to share the love with everyone by finishing and releasing this tool ahead of schedule. Please understand that this is the first beta so expect to find a few bugs (I didn't even have time to add an icon to it LOL). Please report any bugs in this thread.

How to use:
*Create a profile for each website you want to track its ranking by clicking the create a profile button
*Choose the required fields
*Click save
*Now using the combobox select the profile you want to check
*If you want you can set up proxies or choose human emulation
*Click start check
*After your results are finished click save results

Then i shut it down and restarted it and it was fine.
 
Hey guys found some time to update the software. I've added an edit profile feature, changed the user interface slightly and added an icon. Check it out.

Haha, cute robot!
Tested & working.
Maybe a bug: freezing when I press stop just after i press start - i mean press stop during initializing. Reason? I forgot to paste proxies :p
 
I like it. Just what Im looking for (but I hope for some more functionality) ;)

Some things I encountered in random order:
1. I would like to see if the Proxies are loaded or not
2. Possibility to save the proxies
3. Pressing scan after a scan and application dies. You need to chose project after every choice you do.
4. Dont save prev when exiting...

But great!

Im at work, oi I haven't tested it more, but i haven't ever pressed the "save" button. Maybe its possible to save it if I press that button! ;)

hehe yes the save button works but maybe a message while you are exiting asking if you want to save should be added ;)
 
Here you go a few more changes to the program. Added a message asking you if you want to save before exit and a message stating how many proxies were loaded to the application.

If you are updating and want to keep all the existing profiles just copy all files with extension RTR to the new programs folder or just replace the exe file of the old program with the new one.

First it worked really nice, more stable and less crashing than before. So I took notes on my thoughts. (Btw I really like the software)

In random order.
1. When starting and starting new project, it sometimes remember the old project, and all fields are filled in.
2. Still doenst show if proxies are loaded
3. I had a few keywords that were to long to fit on a single row, could you please extend the width of the keyword window (or enable scrolling)
4. It sometimes forget and clear the proxies

After playing a while with it it constantly crashes. I've done most things to try to get it working, except restarting the PC. I still cannot get it to work. As soon as I start to scan i get the following error:

About the crash, before you start the scan do you get a row in the grid bellow that only has zeros? (no keyword)
If that happens then the software is certain to crash. Just reload the profile (choose it again) and that row should be removed.
I will add something to solve this problem.
If this is not when your software crashes then things are getting interesting :p

Also when you load up the proxies there is a message at the bottom of the screen saying how many proxies were loaded. But a clear proxies button should be usefull I will add it in the next version. I will also add the horizontal scroll bar must have forgot about it.
 
Tried it today again:
Crashed constantly as soon as I started the scan, no matter what I did before. nothing/loaded profile/created new profile/whatever. Moved the RT.exe to a new directory, worked like a charm. Moved the other files one by one, and still worked without any trouble. Now I have all files in a new directory, and no more crashes.

However I found a more important bugg.

When saving the "Top" ranking, its actually saving the bottom ranking! ;)

So If I had rank 17 yesterday and 18 today, then 18 is my "Top" ranking for that keyword.

Btw, I haven't seen anywhere how deep you dig? Top 100? Top 200? Or how deep do you dig?

lol can't believe I was storing the lowest rank rather than the best :P I've fixed it and will release that version sometime tomorrow along with a few more bug fixes (too tired to do it now)

The directory bug is a strange one. Can't get my head around to thinking what could have caused that!
I am aware that editing a profile clears your history as I couldn't think any efficient way to do it when I was programing the edit option but I will sort it out as soon as I think of something ;)
 
Did some more testing today, and analyzed your network traffic.

I saw that you only analyzed the 100 first hits. So I could answer my own question (if you analyze top 100/top 200/top 1000). You only analyze the top 100.

However i found something very disapointing. You never uses the proxies. You send all queries straight to Google/Bing/Yahoo. :eek:

Hmmm that is strange I took a look at it and although it should have loaded proxies correctly (I've used the same code for another software that worked fine) it appears that you are right! Too tired to look at it now will fix it tomorrow and release it along with the fix for the problem with the software releasing the lowest rank rather than the top rank.
