I just added an account without proxy (use system proxy) .. clicked check login and it told me "error-unable to connect. check connection and proxy."
don't have a proxy setup in IE or anywhere.

I received the same error and changed the password on the account to what I was using on software and still got errors for invalid login or unable to connect.
OP, The soft doesn't work for me too. Tried it with proxies and system default none of them works. any update etc?...
