I am looking to target tourist who comes on an island and testing what would they buy online .
Statistics of the tourist last year was 10,000,000 for a month will be 833,333 we got 27,777 daily we split to half as some of them could be to old doesn't spent time on social media and would be 13,888 who have 2000 $ to spend in 5-10 days if I could sell to 1% of 13,888 daily tourist and make them spend 1% of their budget will be 2,760 $ sales per day less or more depends on the products or services.
So far I test
- facebook ads instagram the problem the ads audience is less then 1000 ( I targeted english language as a must and other things from the targeted countryty(city pages, city town hall, things that could be more targeted and excluding spanish language as it is the main language)
- I tested also targeting english speakers travel to location or most recent location no luck.
What I saw strange with facebook ads it's that I am still reciving ads from my current city either that I am living away from it since 3 months ago that means facebook algorithms doesn't work so good if you are not change your city make a check in or so, I think from here is the small audience I get on facebook either its targeted to english speakers current travelling or more targeted with instagram the same story.
I tried instagram automation by location since last week which could be the best targeted thing the tool that I found to work ninjagram stopped to work 4 days ago as instagram have more limitation.
I was thinking at finding pixel data emails sources for people who bought an ticked but I think will not be available just for big companies.
If others social platform could geo target better and if you have experience with them feel free to reply.
I am willing to pay for a course if you could proove that the method really works.
If I will found the secret method of geo targeting I will do ghost campaigns to see if people will be really interested in them and after lunching the website .
