From Blogger to Wordpress Worth It?

Im currently doing pretty well on Blogger,but Im not so sure whether or not moving to wordpress anyone here can share some experience . I want to grow more but I do not want to lose my traffic and stuff so Im a little afraid of doing it .

There are a lot of pros to moving to a self-hosted wordpress setup. You get a lot more control over your website and if you ever decide to do something else in the way of monetization, you won't have to worry about what Google thinks of it. There is also a ton of great plugins and templates available for WP.
You won't have to worry about losing your traffic as long as you redirect all of your URL's. You can leave the old site running for a while until you are sure everything is working properly and then you can shut it down.

Ultimately it's a personal decision as I don't think one is better than the other in terms of getting a site to rank. I do think there is far more support and extras out there for WP than for blogger.
