Free Wordpress Autoblog Plugin

Looks pretty good. I would really recommend making all the articles it fetches to translate from English to Spanish to Chinese etc then back to English using google translate so it is unique but readable content.

We do have translation spinning running on our server, but we are translating 1 articles every 2 min and working to multi thread the processing.

As for other the other problems, the primary developer is flying in on Monday and we will address all of the bugs that software is giving.

Na, you don't have to buy it.

We produced this free plugin to gain a bit of notoriety in hopes of selling more copies, but obviously you are not obligated to make a purchase.

There is a few known bugs, so again on Monday we will address them accordingly.

Cheers,
Michael

I cant get it to work. It says it has posted articles successfully but nothing on the site. Weird! Also no catagories show up on the site even though I have set some up!!

There was an error in the database class that was preventing the articles from being distributed properly. (this is fixed)

As for the articles posting the wrong content relating to the keyword, what we did was try to work on the relevancy of the article being posted. Before it was searching the entire body for the keywords, however now it's doing a more specific search.

Hi @ monsterclicks. I like wpaf. Good job! The only I miss is a translation function into Swedish.

OK but let me ask are all the articles being scraped from the web or do u have them all in your database....

so far works pretty nicely.

One bug, every so often it posts an r between paragraph breaks like

<br>r</br>

also, would be great if it could take the keywords or tags from the article and post them in the tag section of the post.

thanks

N

Thanks Monsterclicks, tried it last night and it's very handy :)

Suggestion - could you add a dropdown so that we could select an existing Category to feed the articles into (rather than it creating new category). On an existing autoblog the keywords I use to pull articles don't always exactly match the titles of my WP categories

thanks, bobski

I agree with @ bobski.
Anyway, I've noticed that you do not get the whole article if you use the translation function.
All the articles I get are about the same length (1300 characters). Articles in English is longer. This means that the translation function in the script violates articles.

bobski & vokzzi . . . thanks for the feedback.

I will let my developer know of the feedback you guys provided.

Also for the translation aspect we are getting ready to incorporate contentboss + translation to see if we can churn some good stuff out with that.

Cool stuff!

Would also be nice if you could create multiple "campaigns" (like wp-o-matic), each feeding into a different selected Category

Thanks, bobski

This is trick shot to work out. Requires some serious black magic multi threading. Good luck!

nice plugin.

meet problem to active the plugin
Code:
The file /home/shazi81/public_html/healthy/wp-content/plugins/WP-Article-Fetch/wpaf.php was encoded with the PHP 5 ionCube Encoder, and requires PHP 5 to be installed.

Tried to install on latest WP, PHP5 "caused a fatal error" bok appears asking for user/pass

Does your host have ION cube installed?

There is no user name / password required to run this.

Its free.

Tried the plugin and works great. As mentioned by others, two things I would like to see that would make this "killer" is the ability to create multiple campaigns and the ability to assign my own category.

One additional thing that I would like is the ability to NOT automatically publish the post (put it on "hold" or "review").

I also have a question that if anyone can answer I would appreciate. I have a plugin that automatically produces and submits an RSS feed for each individual post on my blog when it is published. It works perfect on posts that I make manually. The feeds are not created any time an "automated" post is created (from this plugin or others I have tried like WPRobot). Do these "automated" plugins bypass something in the Wordpress posting process that is causing this plugin to not get triggered...any ideas?

Sorry for asking, have you updated your plugin?
The automatic function is Not working on my site.
Only when I post manually "now" or with past dates.

Has anyone managed to install this on a blog hosted at 1and1?

Having real problems with ioncube.

After following all of the 1and1 support, I keep recieving the following error:
Fatal error:

The file /homepages/46/d295707079/htdocs/DatingAddict/wp-content/plugins/WP-Article-Fetch/wpaf.php was encoded with the PHP 5 ionCube Encoder, and requires PHP 5 to be installed. in Unknown on line 0
Despite the helper file indicating that it should be fully working:

h**p://www.datingaddict.co.uk/ioncube/ioncube-loader-helper.php

Any suggestions?

Works great with HostGator and the newest WP!

Made a beautiful autoblog with it!

Thanks!
