HI every-one i applied for web development course (and software development) and got accepted by 2 uni but last month my tuition fees loan rejected and as you know UK uni fees is gone up i have no hope that i will ever can go to uni i dont have money at-all if i earn enough through IM i will do my degree but for now "ANY-ONE KNOW ANY GOOD WEBSITE WHERE I CAN LEARN SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT FOR FREE" i really love to learn software development and want to build new softwares.PLEASE let me know if you know how i can learn this online and free..??

There's many books and resources online. Just do some simple searches on Google for the programming language you want to learn.

Yeah I would try free torrent sites. I'd say if you have to be told to use Google, you are off to a rough start for your programming career....

the best is to start from ebooks, u need to learn and practice step by step

I've used the series of O'Rielly books (all have a weird small animal on their covers) to learn everything from HTML to Ruby on Rails and I think they are by far some of the better written programming books out there.

Though...on the other hand I sometimes learn almost as much going along with web-based tutorials - there are just tons of sources out there.

If you want to go a little more in-depth I would look into MIT's open-source courses they have (all free - all materials available there) go to MIT's website and see whether the language you are trying to master is available.

Check out the MIT open courseware. You can go through their computer science section and pick out whatever you are interested in. There are sample exercises and exam sheets to do along the way. You won't get any sort of qualification but all the knowledge is there for you to freely soak up.

just try to google it and you will find many free pdf books online and I will recomand you VB(.)net and C/C++
