Free products for Amazon reviews?

As most of you know, Amazon have been actively banning accounts which buy reviews with coupon codes. Now, a bunch of facebook review groups exist for the purpose of giving out free amazon products after the buyer leaves a 5-star review.

Did anyone ever consider importing these free products by consolidating and selling them locally? I have over 50 products at home which I got for free through this method

Before I knew bhw existed I was in a few review exchange groups. They worked for a while (all e'-book). I now have a collection of erotica e-books written by housewives. In turn they wrote 5 star reviews. They work for a while but housewives can be greedy AF. After a week or so they remove their review and you can go looking which one of those has removed her review so you can remove hers.

You can sell them on ebay I guess, never used.

Hah never thought about selling them on ebay.. I live on a small island in the middle of the sea so shipping from AMZ to my country and my country to destination isn't feasible.. dropshipping not possible.. also the items aren't high value so margins would be very low and alot of competition.

On the other hand, if I farm AMZ accounts and import these items in lots of 5x per item for example.. I believe I can sell locally through an e-commerce store and a solid marketing strategy.

EDIT: Warranty?

It is questionable that you will receive 5products from the same supplier sent to the same address or in your case Island. You will get noticed pretty fast. The same goes for your warrenty will also be voided in that case.
 
I have a bunch of useless crap from that sitting in a room in my house too.

I suppose one could sell it on eBay, CL, etc but the effort is not worth the return in my opinion.

If anyone needs a pair of crazy gloves that light up for a rave party or some wild thing, hit me up and I'll see if I can find that garbage and send it your way.

You may be right. However, I am consolidating in Germany so the address is of a PO box. Ordering from 5 different credit cards linked to 5 accounts from different IP addresses. If reviews are staggered, accounts are built slowly and you don't always leave a 5 star review, then I don't think you would get noticed that easily.

Not always useless crap. You'd be surprised what you can find.. bluetooth speakers and headsets (not highest quality but passable), shower heads, meat thermometers etc.
Since I live on an island shipping is always an issue hence if you can offer shipping within 24 hours (since items are already here locally) and free shipping, I think its lucrative
 
I actually just started this method. It's all free so it's basically all profit as long as you don't spend too much time trying to sell the stuff.

Is it profitable? Are you selling well? How do you sell? Is it worth the time? If I may ask, how do you deal with warranty?
 
Perhaps the freebie items can also be offered as free giveaways (for the cost of shipping) to get people to a site in a related niche (e.g., on a page that is selling something else, or serving as a CPA offer).
