[FREE] My Forums PR Bot for my 500th Post!

One more thing! when I try to look at my backlins in other forum user on the same site, while the tool is still working, I get this error: Error 500: Internal server error

Error 500
Your request for a URL has triggered a fault with the Web server. It is likely that the server overload, a configuration change, PHP script, or other server side application has caused a fault.
I don't know what it means but it seems that the server can see that a php script is running.

i think its a error from the forum server

Am i the only one who cant get this to work?
I am logged in and the bot starts counting down. But when i am then visiting the profiles from a proxy and not being logged in, my user isnt shown with the others ?

just read that page to find an answer from OP.

looks interesting ... will need to try!
anyone fancy creating a video to show how/what it can do?

Ya it is down for me too

Hmmm, not sure whats up. I just tried the link and it works (unless you're talking about the other guy's bot). My bot has been sitting there ready for download and far as I know my server hasn't been down.

Regarding the issues with getting it to work ... I've done all the explanations I can already for troubleshooting. People have had issues and they were able to work them out following the advice. Just read the thread, the posts I made explaining people's questions and you should find the answer. If it still doesn't work after you've tried all my advice, i don't know how to troubleshoot it anymore. As far as I know, most people were able to figure it out.

I could not get php's bot to work for me, even after playing around with my browser settings and such for a few days. But I thought the idea behind it was great. So I decided to make a little something with iMacros that does the exact same thing with firefox. It's crude, takes some work to set up and it's probably a bit slower than php's original because it will actually load each profile page. I saw that there were some others who had problems getting the IE bot to work so if any of you want the macro I'd be happy to share it with you, just let me know.

Wish I understood what was going on here. It looks interesting, but I am technically stupid.

Hmm, this is turning from spoon-feeding to pre-chewing pretty quickly here. I'm sure you can figure it out.

hahahahhahaa. haha.

up to the more fun part.. time to start baby making! ;)

thankx for the laugh phpbuilt.
and the great share. of course.

If that's the case then this is the first time I've heard a problem that I don't know how to fix.

I've used the program on windows xp, windows 2003 server, windows vista, windows 7 with a wide variety of i.e. installations and could get them all to work. Nowadays I let it run on my windows vps without issue.

All I can recommend is to try it a couple more times ... I'm not an i.e. expert (I've hated it for a long time) ... the only reason I've programmed with it is that it can be embedded into VB6 programs fairly easy.

I'm not really an expert in VB6 either ... I just tinker til it suits my purpose and call it done. I'm not sure how to fix it if 2 i.e. instances work fine for being instantly logged in but the bot doesn't work.

I've done all the steps you've told me to do, and I'm having the same trouble as that guy. The other bot out there works ok, but I'd rather have one that just goes down the list of id=10101 instead of going to members.php and randomally selecting a few...

this tool is working great. However, I have 5 profiles that I've run through about 500 to 1,000 other profiles. After about 3 days none of them are indexed even. Are we sure Google is still crawling these links? I even used Open Site Explorer to find other "hub" sites with high page authority and lots of internal and external links. Visited those profiles....still not indexed.

In your experience do these profiles gain PR even though they're not indexed? at the time of this post, the profile in your OP as an example isn't indexed either. I like the concept, I just fear it may not be working any longer and that is the reason we are seeing the tools being shared for free now.

What's your experience on the time it takes until your profiles gain PR? Did some profiles on various forums, just waiting now for the results...

In Google, type
Code:
site:domain.com/member.php

Where domain.com is the path to the vBulletin installation. How many results do you see? If you see 100k results, then Google knows about 100k pages on that site. Eventually, Google will revisit those pages and when it does, your links will automatically be indexed.

You only ran 500 or 1000 profiles? Why so little? I can run 100k in several hours if I just let it keep running.

Well the pages are either indexed in Google, or they're not. You can know this before you even start using the bot, just type site:domain.com/member.php in Google to see how many pages are already indexed.

Typically, if I create a forum profile for this on a popular forum and then run the software ... within 20 minutes, my profile is indexed.

Then if I make my username unique and type site:domain.com userprofile I can see hundreds of pages indexed within several hours.

They gain in PR as soon as Google sees the links. You won't see the PR until Google does a toolbar PR update, which is nothing but a snapshot in time of the PR of any particular page. Real PR fluctuates daily.

working great! thanks phpbuilt :)

For those having trouble with IE, go to Internet Options-->Security and untick "Enable Protected Mode"
Then restart IE, log into the forum and set the bot to work.

ps. I just got done with a PR4 forum with 60,000 members. I hope I see some benefit. There just aren't many big forums in my niche. Should I go for unrelated forums as well?

This fixed it for me. Thank you!!!

The beauty of this tool/method, is that you're leveraging the juice from others' labors without actually spamming. You're exploiting a loophole without actually making the intarwebz a crappier place by trashing it with useless content. This, to me, is the gold standard of black hat. You're an artist, dude.

search string in a couple other languages:

spanish
Code:
"visitantes recientes" +inurl:"member.php?u=100000..."

german:
Code:
+"besucher" +inurl:"member.php?u=100000..."

We've been one PR update since I released this, can anyone say that they actually got their profiles a high PR doing this?

I know the answer but it would be cool for people to confirm it hehe.
