Hello folks. In my "All the PR You Want" thread I outlined how to get all the PR you want from forums by making a profile on vBulletin that has a last-10-viewed widget.

Here is a bot that I wrote to surf forum profiles. It works really easy -- all you have to do is (in internet explorer), log into any forum that has a last-10-viewed widget. Find the number of the very last member of that forum (lets say for instance, its member 98989). Enter this into the box:

    Code:
    http://forumyouwanttoscrape.com/member.php?u=98989
It will then proceed to load every forum profile down the list. Remember, you have to be logged in with internet explorer for your name to show up on the last 10 viewed.

It runs pretty fast, because I don't actually load the page. I just send headers to vBulletin telling them that I'm going to load the page and that's good enough to get your profile on the last 10 viewed widget.

My bot (PS, I wrote this bot myself)
    Code:
    http://88.190.242.105/forumlinks/links.exe

    Virus total:
    Code:
    http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/report.html?id=2e148bd9629c1e217c675cda00c5647d90db04a77492f241012eb1a2a5a38253-1319837406
Here is a cool trick to find forums with lots of members. Use a special Google trick to find numbers in a certain range. This search query here ...

    Code:
    +"recent visitors" +inurl:"member.php?u=90000..100000"
Will find vBulletin sites that have the recent visitors widget enabled, with at least 90k members.

If you want to see what this looks like in action, check out any profile on this website between 124444 and 124300 (see the phpbuiltwashere link) ...

    Code:
    http://comunidad.colombiascortvip.com/member.php?u=124444
    http://comunidad.colombiascortvip.com/member.php?u=124300

Just before I made this post, I used the program to put my link on 145 profiles. If I continued to let it run, it'd load all 124k+ profiles.

PS -- if you don't know what this is about, I'm handing you the keys to make your website high PR. I haven't had any problem at all creating PR5 websites using this method.

    That thread is here
    Code:
    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/black-hat-seo/365115-free-all-page-ranking-you-want-then-some.html
I made that thread :D This is the bot I made to take advantage of that method. I would have put a link to it, but it seems the anonymizeit.com script is screwing up and links aren't working properly.

I truly think you're onto something not only outside-the-box, but almost, for lack of a better word, revolutionary. There's been a lot of complaints recently not only about forum back links but indexing them as well, which has been a tough nut for just about anybody since John Q. Backlink first thought of the XRumer blast back in 1974.

I've been following all of these related threads thoroughly and bravo, sir. I don't see why your method wouldn't not only 'force' Google to index your forum profiles, but almost dare them not to.

Devaluing forum profile back links (and I mean the links generated to INDEX your forum profiles, such as BIE and the like) is an easy problem with an easy solution. Simply don't index those final tier links pointed at the XRumer blast. But how do you devalue back links from forum profile to forum profile? From my personal perspective, they'd have to devalue links from forum profiles period.. And you couldn't really do that.

I see two things with this method and particularly this tool. First, I see your golden opportunity to develop the next big piece of SEO software, which you could easily charge out the butt hole for considering your main demographic has already dropped $540 (XRumer) and/or $147/mo (SENuke X). Second, I see the perfect platform to start a tool such as this.

Understand that I'm not knocking your tool at all, I think it's great and I actually requested a quote earlier today(!) about a bot that does just this. I am merely (assuming your level of understanding as to programming is solid enough to develop this tool further) suggesting what I think would be good additions. If these are beyond your scope, you could outsource these projects for cheap and make your money back 100,000X.

1.) Obviously, the ability to manage the login procedure on its own, maybe you could feed a link list CSV file with URLs, usernames and passwords.
2.) Threaded, if possible, as opposed to relying on IE. Of course for the reason of processing several URLs simultaneously and completing the task at tens or even hundreds of times the speed.
3.) The ability to specify ranges. I understand it somewhat does this. But if you were able to simply type into a text box or even a written command like "member.php?u=100-200&350&1000-1500&3000" These ranges could be stored in the same CSV file it pulls the membership info from.

This way, you could pull the higher PR profiles as well as members who've posted on high PR threads, specify a range and continue your pinging campaign to make sure you STAY on their recent visitors list.

Very cool work, though. This will definitely be a primary component in my SEO campaigns. Thanks again for all your insights.

Some people are messaging me with an issue, they're getting an error:

    Code:
    Run0time error '9':
    Subscript out of range
To be clear, if it wasn't clear in the original message, you have to paste your member.php link in the box. For instance with the example I gave in the OP ...

    Code:
    http://comunidad.colombiascortvip.com/member.php?u=124445
That is the profile I made. That has to be the link you paste in (or one just like it). It has to have that full URL and the member.php?u={number} at the end. Anything else will just give you that "subscript out of range" error.

Also, remember that URL may be hard to find. Sometimes they give you something like "s=blahblahblahblahblah&u=382865". Strip the s=blahblah out of it, take it down to member.php?u=382865 if it tries to do that to you.

    Sweet got it working.
Can I load more then one forum at the same time? or I have to do on forum at a time?

Can I have more than one Internet Explorer open and logged on and running multiple instance of your program?

Is this safe to run for long period of time?

I could certainly build something like this. I'm building something else I think is better at the moment though :D

I don't know, I might build a tool like this in the future. I build a lot of cool things hehe. I couldn't easily make it not work with internet explorer, as it is a VB6 program that has a browser control inserted ... I intercept the data going to and from the browser, and the browser controls the cookie and session ... otherwise I'd have to code cookie and sessions management from scratch and it'd be a pain in the butt.

Yes ... it will absolutely index your profiles (usually within seconds of pushing play). Because it is an internal link, it is a trusted link for your profile page. It's great for indexing and great for PR.

If you really like it and think its worth big bucks and appreciate the fact its free ... keep an eye out in the near future for a big service I'm going to be introducing. You can say thanks by checking the service out hehe. I'll write more about it in the near future ... lets just say I think its a lot more useful than this tool, and will have free components that are much more useful than this tool.

Ok, there is a internet explorer control built within the program. You log into a forum with internet explorer to set yourself as currently logged in. When you do that, the bot I made is logged into that forum by default.

Yes, you can do multiple forums at the same time. It is no different than if you were browsing multiple forums at the same time.

Every once in a while, however, you may want to double check that your profile link is being injected on the other profiles by copying the link in the bot and pasting it in a browser (a different browser, such as firefox or chrome) ... that way you know the links are being injected by the bot and not by the other internet explorer instance you happen to be running.

It actually would be member.php?u=91000 ... if it doesn't look like that, the script won't work with my bot.

I could test it out, but your actual domain there was filtered by the forum so I don't know what the domain is.

once you have registered, technically you are the latest member...you can use your own member link to keep the bot rolling! I like your tool, phpbuilt! It saves me a lot of my time.

Ok, I'm going to tell you how you would use my bot with a site like be-mag.com.

Various installations of vBulletin use different permalinks. However, the plain old member.php?u= will still work with a site like that.

They give you a member forum profile that has this URL ...

    Code:
    http://www.be-mag.com/msgboard/member.php/91090-mksauce
So you change it and make it look like this.

    Code:
    http://www.be-mag.com/msgboard/member.php?u=91090
That will load the same profile, with a redirect. This will work with my bot. So just change the URL, paste the changed URL into my bot and it'll put your profile link on all the other profiles of that forum.
