[FREE] My Forums PR Bot for my 500th Post!

how long do you think it would take a profile page to hit a high pr rank?

really complicated question if the profile links are not in bulk they wont work for u :(

What if it worked like this.. Loaded a link list, then scraped those links for links containing the term "member?u=" and then pinged those links?

That way, you could use Scrapebox to search for high PR threads/blogs/profiles/etc, load that list into the pinger and ping all the profiles linked to those pages only.

Then it would maximize the crawling and PR flowing to your profiles, cut down on the time to process each forum (since it would most likely ping a few hundred/thousand profiles as opposed to all), and appear more natural. Could also cut down on time and appear even more natural by scraping all "member?u=" links and pinging a specified percentage of them.

Sounds like something Zennoposter or uBot would be able to do. But I've not used them before and I don't have them except the Zennoposter trial.

Cool stuff man.

This has a lot of power, and I have a great idea for twisting this. :)

I'd have to look at it, but I think scrapebox can already take a long list and you can filter it by those that have "member.php?u=" and have it instantly return only those links, can't it? I've used it to instantly weed out .co.cc files so I'm assuming you can weed out other stuff too.

I could get all fancy with it, but honestly either xrumer or senuke could implement my program in 5 minutes, whereas it would take me as long to recreate what they've done as it took them to build it.

Even though its fast, it still takes many hours to zoom through a list of hundreds of thousands of links. A scripting program like automate could fire up i.e., log into a forum, launch my bot, paste in a link at x____ number, run it for a specified amount of time, kill the process and log into different profile, rinse and repeat from a different member profile number, etc. ... everything you want can be scripted and automated. But seeing it takes hours I typically do it manually.

Pure genius! Appreciate your contribution on BHW!

Follow most of your threads...

It worked on some and then had an error? Or it never worked at all?

It worked on some. It surfed some going backward as you specified but after surfing some gave this error.

tried it on a few forums but, not added for some reason. I hear it clicking and the counter goes down.

Example:
Code:
http://www.classicboat.co.uk/forums/member.php?u=60280

Great share b.t.w

Hey phpbuilt,

This looks like a great technique.

Forgive my ignorance, but please could you answer:

Aren't the links temporary, as other members visit profiles?

Or, are you using the power of numbers and saying that most will not be visited enough to knock your link off the member profile pages?

Thanks.

Looks like very nice little thing :)
And made me thinking about a little script to make it easier to use:
Enter a list of forum profiles on different domains (eg fresh from xrumer)
the script isolates your member id and the forum root url
it scrapes Xk other members on every domain and visites their profile with your profile

thanks for this wonderful tool
but I still can't understand what this does and how this works

Or just scrape the member URLs off the homepage. Allow scheduling.. There's a lot of cool features that could go into something like this. Proxy support, threads for faster completion, link lists for bulk tasks, reports (success, failures, maybe purge failures from the link lists automatically), scheduling would keep your links healthy as well as protect them from some forums 6 month pruning...

Very powerful theory to build on.

clapclap mate :)

But we have to use IE aaaaaargh.
ok ok will use it even if FF is crying.

Here is a bot that can register to vbulletin forums, so you dont have to register manually on each forum you find with SB (I think this bot works with vbulletin, I did not use it yet, but crazyfix is a great programmer so it should work)

awesome piece of software mate!
will internal linking alone increase the PR of the pages?
sorry for the noob question :D

i tested this and it works great; i got that error that everyone mentioned when trying to scale the window it was running in; otherwise works as intended.
it only gets stuck sometimes when you run too many instances :) but you can always copy the link it got stuck on, restart the thing past it in, and keep going.
Really nice tools thanks

this method is not only good for PR, but also to grab positions in serps, cuz you build BLs to your site :)

Did you open up internet explorer and actually log in to the site? You have to be logged in with internet explorer ... that makes the bot logged in. (Because there's an internet explorer browser embedded in the bot).

It will be a little temporary now lol. They used to stay near forever, but as this will be competitive now, you will be on the list of the last 10 and when 10 other BHW members use it, your name will be pushed off the list. But even so, I still think it is advantageous and will still do a lot of benefit for your site in terms of PR and getting your forum profiles backlinked.

Save your login info and if you get pushed off, just run it again.

And made me thinking about a little script to make it easier to use:

Yeah but think about it ... if all you had to do is push the button and go to sleep, and 50 other BHW members used the plugin consistently ... you would get yourself a half a million links that might last for 5 hours before they're all gone lol. If you are creative, you can run certain programs which will automate this piece of software, or even create your own with programs like automate.

thanks for this wonderful tool
but I still can't understand what this does and how this works

You create a forum profile. This software then gets your forum thousands of backlinks to your profile from within the forum. The thousands of backlinks give your forum profile PR and help with getting it indexed.

Or just scrape the member URLs off the homepage. Allow scheduling.. There's a lot of cool features that could go into something like this. I'm curious with those who think this is that good of a deal enough of a deal, to see what they think something like that is worth.

i.e. ... paste in a list of forums you know are compatible, it creates the profiles, and pings profiles at various intervals. So if you have 100 profiles at various forums, it will cycle through them all and ping x amount of profiles at x intervals as you specify.

What would such a script be worth, and would virtually everyone who uses xrumer or senukex want to buy such a thing?

I've got a major project I'll be introducing soon, but once its programmed I may have some time to develop something like this ... it never occurred to me to do a big fancy program for it, because up until I made this thread no one even knew the benefit of doing such a thing (so why would they buy a program to do it).

Yes, I have many PR3, PR4 and PR5 profiles and used to have some PR6.

this method is not only good for PR, but also to grab positions in serps, cuz you build BLs to your site :)

Your page will receive the backlinks of your profile name. There is a trade-off here ... the more commercial you make it sound, the more vulnerable it will be. Like if your profile is "refrigerator-parts", your profile will get tens of thousands of "refrigerator-parts" backlinks ... but it won't be as under-the-radar as a common name would. I tend to use common names nowadays just to make them last longer, or I make hubs with common names then I use keyword-rich names on the hubs.

how could i have never thought of this but anyway i bow to superior minds
