Free ebook promotion & distribution

I created an ebook around a niche topic which will be available for free on one of my relevant niche sites. The ebook will be sent directly after an interested user leaves his mail/signs up for the newsletter, perhaps later also by direct download, well see. The ebook contains aff. links.

Besides the free distribution through the niche site I want to spread the ebook all around the web to give the topic a boost.

While I know many of the website services in the BHW Marketplace for linkbuilding/PBN I haven't found one who is focused on advertising/spreading a digital product like an ebook.
I thought of something like an upload service to document sharing sites followed by a link indexing/tier1/2/3 service. Do you know something like this?
Of course I could upload it myself and only add the indexing/link building afterwards...

Or is this much easier than I think and I should use one of the more common Marketplace services for linkbuilding on the the ebook/pdf url instead?

Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Promote it on social media. Facebook, Twitter, and maybe Pinterest.

Pinterest will work great if you could design an eye-catchy cover and promote it.

If you plan on giving away that eBook outside of the website for the users who don't have to sign up with an email to get it, you will not be getting too many people on the website signing up to get it. They will just find it elsewhere.

Promote your eBook directly through the website. You can even use paid methods such as Facebook or Instagram ads (in case you know how to design nice photos) and spend small amounts to get some targeted traffic and get the ball rolling. $50 can do wonders if targeted correctly and initial 100-200 sign ups can be collected by doing so. Make sure you promote it well, check where your audience is hanging out and give them a free eBook. Some will graciously accept because, well, it is a freebie!
