Hi NapsteR,
I'm sure you get tons of PMs every day with silly questions like mine, so I'll try to be as brief as possible. If you don't reply, it's cool - I can take a hint =). I've been following the advice you outlined in your thread "For Newbies - Start making money - Complete Guide to get started." Very helpful, thank you.
Here are my questions:
1.) After I've found a set of keywords that seem to meet your guidelines, I'll do an inurl: search. I've noticed that the number of results is usually very high, sometimes over 1,000,000.
My question is this: when using inurl, should I be searching for the exact keywords like this:
inurl:"this is an example"
(which seems to result in figures much more reasonable, and often around/under 50,000)
instead of
inurl:this is an example
Which produces a very high number of results.
2.) For the purposes of finding an EMD, do apostrophes in the keyword matter?
So for example:
Keywords: I don't know what I'm doing
EMD: idontknowwhatimdoing.com
(obviously just an example).
Will the apostrophe in words like "don't" "I'm" "won't" and so on reduce the ranking ability of the EMD, since, of course, these characters aren't capable of being in a domain?
Thank you VERY much for reading my PM. Any advice you could offer would be appreciated greatly.
