Hi guys,
I?m feeling good today. So, thought to share something for the community.
May be some of you are using it already. It?s just using the synonyms in domain name when EMD is not available.
A month before, I got good keyword but EMD was taken. .com, .net, .org all were taken. So, I thought go for ?key-word.com? (with hyphens). I had some hard time ranking domains with hyphens before, so, I bought domain with synonym. It ranked amazingly well. So, I thought share it with you guys along with some tips.
Let?s say you want to register a domain for ?iphone 4 unlock?, but all major extensions are not available. So, go for synonym.
Register the domain ?iphonefourunlock.com?.
It is not as good as iphone4unlock.com but, better than domain with hyphens (IMHO).
Search for ?iphone 4? and ?iphone four? . See the images.
You can see that in second image the search term is ?iphone four? but still ?4? is bolded in the result.
I don?t know whether its working for text synonyms like (lawyer=attorney). But it works well for number synonyms. So, you can this for windows 8, harrypotter 7, iphone 5 and etc.
Once again they are not as good as EMD, but they are better than hyphen domains and stop word domains, from my experience.
