I'd obviously like to see England do well but just don't think we have the quality players that you need in these competitions, the likes of Suarez, Aguero, Ribery, Robben, Van Persie etc... Our hopes are pinned on Rooney, Sturridge, Cahill, Lallana and the like.

I hope that Belgium can do well because they have some very promising players; however, Benteke will be a big miss for them and will leave Lukaku under a lot of pressure.

I also hope that the Ivory Coast manage to put in some good performances as I like the way they play and because Yaya will feature for them.

I know it's very chauvinistic of me, but if you can't dream then what's the point of life ;)
But I do believe Belgium is going to be the surprise of the World Cup. We don't really have a weak area in the team.

Yes Lake they have an outside chance......they have good players in almost all the positions...best part is they have pace which is important but it has to be seen if they can bear the brazilian climate...players like Lukaku, Hazard, Kompany etc.

I wasn't being facetious or anything. I really mean the world would enjoy their win.

I'm kind of hoping it does happen, but Brazil's team isn't a joke either. And, they're playing at home, with everything that implies.

I do laugh friendly just a bit at the idea of Belgium, tiny valiant Belgium, beating Brazil|Germany|Netherlands|Argentina, but most definitely their team is a good one. Spain and Portugal I'm unsure about, either going to push far or flop out.
 
Netherlands and France will be out in 2nd round, lack of overall quality. Portugal and Argentina lack defensive capabilities, Italy and England lack creative/attacking capabilities.
Spain, Brazil and Germany have good overall teams.

Don't forget Courtois as goalkeeper :P

Definately Courtois, Mignolet has only been allowed to play a couple of friendlies. Courtois is overall better. Mignolet is good on his line but not great on high crosses.
 
Oh yeah, I am also waiting for this guy to do some magic in this WC, though I am not a Sweden fan :D




No wonder why conspiracy theories of alien existence on earth are so popular ;)
