Follow and unfollow in the same day?

I have read a couple of times before that following and unfollowing in the same day is taboo and that it would result in a ban very fast.

Is this true? Did anyone test this and what is your experience?

Just like anything it is all about scale. I used to do that manually for weeks without a problem but that was on a mobile device not automated. When it comes to using bots or automation id stay clear i normally set a 3 day duration. I still get weirdos messaging me why I add and remove them every few days. Maybe that's why people get blocked due to the whiners.

Well I mean following new people and unfollowing 2 days old people in the same day.
 
No problem at all.

When I have a low count, I will follow/unfollow @600/400 and when the count is near 7000, I switch to a 400/600 schedule.

For sure the daily gain is higher when you follow straight up 1000 users, but I hate those shitty unfollowing days. Eventually it doesn't really matter which way you choose.

That's the reason why I'm asking. The gain is much lower on the unfollowing days. I rather have a steady clime, so I know what to expect.

That's just how the game works.

If you look at journeys, you'll see accounts with xx,xxx followers struggle to gain followers during unfollowing days. When they're done unfollowing, the amazing growth comes back.

doing follow/unfollow with no problems, everyday. but I only use 6 to 12 months old accounts.
 
I don't do follow/unfollow on the same day anymore since I am botting my accounts. Maybe it's fine if I am still doing it manually.

It happens with me too
If i followand unfollow on the same day.. tha gains are shitty
But if i do 3 day only follow then 3 days unfollow...
I was amazed bybthe results
