After discussing with my client, a barbershop, we came to the conclusion that flyers might be the best step to get him new clients.
My thinking:
- He is based in the center of a student city. Multiple colleges and universities are quite close. = Student niche
- He is very affordable compared to other barbers in the city. = Fits with the avatar.
- He speaks both the native language and English. = We have quite some international students.
- There are numerous apartments solely rented out to students both on campus and around the city center. = The physical target of the flyers.
- He himself is in his 30s and very friendly. = Fits with the avatar.
- Got him to get a QR code on his window so he can get more reviews on google. = More customers > more reviews > easier to stand out from competition > more customers and so on.
Current plan:
1. Create two sets of flyers with two qr codes for A/B testing purposes.
2. Start with a small amount of flyers in one specific apartment building.
3. Will put the flyers in the mail boxes.
4. Analyze the results of this campaign and decide on the next sequence of steps.
Am I overlooking anything or oversimplifying it? This is the first time I am doing any sort of offline marketing.
