Okay so I've been getting a ton of PMs/IMs/love letters etc since starting this section so I thought it might be good to start a Q&A so I don't have to repeat myself 1000 times :)

I'm very busy at the moment with various business and personal related issues but that won't stop me checking by this thread to help you all out.

Please read my 101 post here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/site-flipping/171475-site-flipping-101-a.html and any other posts I've made in the section before asking.

Anyway, anything you want to know, shoot:

Great I have always been wondering which "blackhat" tools/techniques we can use to get a decent price when flipping:p

Meathead Xsitepro sites do they sell well?

it seems powerful and since there is a free download in the download section it might be a handy tool.

Anything sells :) But joking apart, I would recommend using Wordpress for all of your sites since the majority of buyers will be familiar with the platform (or can learn easily).

That's not to say Xsitepro sites won't sell, especially if they are mini MFA-type sites, although I would recommend these more for personal use than flipping.

Why is it that I never see anyone actually post on dp threads for sites for sales? However many of the threads have 100+ views?? How many sites actually get sold on dp?

Why are you even looking on Digital Poop? Hell, I feel like BHW should be selling those little clavin stickers that show him pissing on DP. I'd put one on my car!

Flippa is where you sell them sir, Flippa.

What is the best way to protect yourself from scammers that will bid, "pay", you give them the site ownership, and then they filled a paypal resolution for not getting the product (once they have access to DNS)?

Sites do sell on there, although it isnt usually as interactive as Flippa as sales are generally lower end or complete crap :)

I find DP is a great place to buy from if you are prepared to go through a ton of sales threads until you find a gem.

Instead of giving them your Paypal address, invoice them through the Paypal system as goods. Then zip up the site files and put them on a CD. Post this to the buyer with a tracking number.

Paypal will have an invoice, tracking number and 9/10 you will win the dispute.

Thanks, i was aware of that strategy and it is perfect for medium to high prices sites.

But for sites less than $300 it is not very profitable to add the Fedex/UPS cost.

But thanks anyway I am sure it may help others

Ah in that case, asides from doing your due diligence on the buyer it is tricky with Paypal. It's all part of the game, you win some, you lose some. Generally you will win assuming you invoice them and keep good track of all communications etc.

Meathead, since we;re blackhatters here, is there a way to spoof the G-analytics?

I have to agree with thenayr. Perhaps you should figure out ways to explode traffic?

    Agreed x2.

@Gimme.The.Loot - yes this is a blackhat forum, but to be honest, site flipping is a white hat revenue stream for me. It requires you to build a good reputation and a solid client base in order to be successful longer term. If you literally want to sell one site and never sell again (at least under the same alias) then I'm sure there are ways to spoof GA, but I certainly wouldn't recommend it if you want to realise any sort of long term income.

Are there any niches that will guarantee a sale? Such as "tv streaming site" or may a "movie streaming site". There just examples, but you get the picture.

    Thanks,

    Okay meathead.

If we say I pay just for the listing and bold title now. Can I then feature the same auction later on without paying the other things again?

Also do you really still think featured is needed?

Shouldn't it still be possible to get a decent price for your sites without it?
