So I had a guy who sold his site on flippa for 60 grand, and a big part of it was he used my revenue stream, took a 1 month commitment, extended it to 12 , and actually never even gave me most of the services.
The flippa formula is pretty easy. You find a few people you know who are willing to sign invheoices saying they paid you for advertising or maybe you have 1 or 2 advertisers.
Then you also buy organic traffic as the same time in the months before your flippa auction, etc etc.
Then you find similar sites, and yo utell them look lets trade advertising, but im going to say that you paid me and yo ucan say the same thing, and again invoices.
On top of that you can add some inflated pay per click numbers, for instance you can say we only started ad sense last month but got xxx amount, and actually a lot of that was from you or free credits or whatever.
Also putting out a press release on PRwire talking about how the site is becoming a major competitor blah blah blah is always good but may be overkill, you can always latch on to someones else and pay someone to indirectly mention your site or just put out content on similiar sites which mentions the huge growth and revamped interest in your site.
There is no real due diligence, and especially if your a niche like crypto or cannabis that does not have adsense and is hard to track numbers, that is where this is the best play, or emerging industries etc.
Dont forget to also have someone data scrape a bunch of industries or directories or jobs to be able to say a site that has over 5000 business 's that have already signed up (scraped data).
Also make sure that you are showing growth in your revenue and find a good organic trafic provider , because you can make your site look like it gets legit traffic from the US thats all organic and that is a huge factor.
Another common thing to do is get a domain in a hot niche, buy a template for a certain kind of site, scrape the data, get the fake organic traffic bought, 10 high quality articles in there and a bunch of fake users.
Dont forgot to slowly accumulate a bunch of fake likes and followers on all social media channels as well. If you have a site with real history you can talk bigger money, but lets say a 6 month project in a hot niche, you spend 1 grand for everything max and can easily sell for 3, 3 month you can spend 500 and sell for 1200-1500.
Mod Note;
Title was FLIPPA is BS - How To Play Them, (which may have been misleading.)
The idea of this thread is " The intention of this post is to educate so that you dont fall victim to this kind of shit like i did indirectly and people i know did directly."
