Flippa getting desperate?

I had a guy on flippa contact me and ask me 100 questions about a website that I had listed for sale and ask me how I made money and every little detail. Of course I didnt share to much but a few weeks later I find a copy of my site registered in his name and he was trying to copy my method. I send him a hateful email and he tells flippa and they banned me and didnt even ban his account. They are idiots. I had sold over $300k worth of sites and paid them $32k over the previous year and the ban me and leave that guy who had not sold or bought anything

Flippa is losing a lot of money. They should of stayed the same. They could of been the Amazon of buying digital businesses. Great opportunity for someone to create a better version.

What is a good alternative for selling starter sites or sites making money under 1 year? If there is not another option yet then create your own e-commerce site that sells them right?

Sounds about right. Flippa is horrible. They banned all my accounts. Thinking about starting my own site. Invite a few sellers and sell my own websites.

They are also short on Staff, their support doesn't even work on weekends anymore so that's a pretty significant indicator that things are bad.
Listings that got 2000 views now get only 200 - This goes worse by day as more and more buyers are not coming back because of the design faults and the retarded navigation system.. they still dont care to fix it.

The mobile app is broken at least over a year - If you log in you see some white empty box on the middle of the screen.. takes time to navigate around that especially if you are new.
They settle disputes now for 2 weeks - I need to remind them that i have some open otherwise they wont do anything at all.
I've won all my disputes in the past so they offer a free relist.. now the things are so bad that yesterday they offered me 15 $ cashback for a 65 $ listing and only if i asked where is my free relist.. they gave me 15 $ and then i needed to contact them to get the other 50 $ - They are really desperate there.. quite honestly I dont believe that this situation goes back to normal, which is sad because it was a great source to take that extra 4-5 K monthly.
There are just so many things wrong there, how can the management be just so fucked up is beyond my mind.

Their team is the worse lol it was a good marketplace platform now they are just becoming brokers for established or premium businesses. The views for every listing dropped too much and their traffic did too. Crazy!
 
Flippa is like that place run by envy kids that don't accept when someone calls them out. Bunch of stupid people who actually believe they know what they're doing.

This toxic place created a new type of "buyers" who also think they know what they're doing (spoiler alert... they don't).

If you wanna sell something there, go ahead. But EVERYTIME go with a 3th party escrow service (either dna, epiK, sedo....). Never use Flippa escrow and never buy something from there.

Flippa Sellers used to make a lot of money every month and Flippa did too. Create your own website selling the sites, apps, or domains then promote it. Target people interested in Flippa. You can still make a killing!

I found AgencyFlip.com. But they focus on digital marketing agency web businesses. Not others like adsense, amazon, e-commerce, etc. Maybe niche down and start your own website.
 
Sounds like a great opportunity for a small site flipping might look into it.

Flippa is only good for ideas and putting your own twist to successful websites lol Never buy!
 
This is really bad to hear as I and preparing to sell one of my valuable domain names
 
I get like 5 emails a day from Flippa now..It's crazy. Like watching a train wreck - I don't wanna, but I can't look away. Their FEES went through the roof too.

Would be nice to have an alternative to Flippa for smaller sites.

Thought the same thing. Reminds me if when ebay stopped letting sellers leave negative feedback for buyers. Makes no sense at all. That's how you know there is manipulation going on behind the scenes.

Flippa been doing shady stuff and making money off of sellers scamming people. They might of been doing fraud too themselves.

Exactly if you pay low expect a shitty website in return. If you're a real buyer pay real top of the line money.

The site has a bad reputation for sellers scamming people but in reality, there's enough good honest sellers on there just gotta weed them out. I personally would never buy a site on Flippa or a site period I would rather build them from the ground up myself but if you're a buyer use Empire Flippers seems to be a much more trusty process on there. If you're a seller use Flippa if you're a site isn't premium or has been around at least 1 year making $1,000 or more per month because Empire Flippers requires that to list on their site.
