Yeah she annoying af
Yeah they have completely messed up the platform at this point.
Few weeks ago had 5 premium auctions - 4 of them didn't even reach to the point where i could make the listing fee back.
They are also short on Staff, their support doesn't even work on weekends anymore so that's a pretty significant indicator that things are bad.
Listings that got 2000 views now get only 200 - This goes worse by day as more and more buyers are not coming back because of the design faults and the retarded navigation system.. they still dont care to fix it.
The mobile app is broken at least over a year - If you log in you see some white empty box on the middle of the screen.. takes time to navigate around that especially if you are new.
They settle disputes now for 2 weeks - I need to remind them that i have some open otherwise they wont do anything at all.
I've won all my disputes in the past so they offer a free relist.. now the things are so bad that yesterday they offered me 15 $ cashback for a 65 $ listing and only if i asked where is my free relist.. they gave me 15 $ and then i needed to contact them to get the other 50 $ - They are really desperate there.. quite honestly I dont believe that this situation goes back to normal, which is sad because it was a great source to take that extra 4-5 K monthly.
There are just so many things wrong there, how can the management be just so fucked up is beyond my mind.
I was just wondering, what happens if a buyer bids for for a site or domain on Flippa and wins it but does not verify his/her identity or does not pay? What happens then?
Nothing happens, the sale gets stuck and you can just dispute it.
Flippa became a shitshow. Can't really take them serious any more. The business model is fantastic tho.
But if the buyer ignores the dispute, then you wont get paid at all?
Flippa has been going downhill steadily for quite few years now but things have really accelerated in last few weeks. Looking at these wholesale new changes it has become pretty clear to me that they have given up on the website otherwise the new changes wouldn't have made any sense. They are now looking to grab as much cash as possible from the sellers before they eventually sink.
This is what happened with my last two sales -
1. The guy placed BIN bid, paid throuh paypal, got the assets and finally lodged both Flippa and PayPal disputes. I won the PayPal dispute but Flippa one is still pending.
2. Another guy placed BIN bid, replied almost after 2 days and saying he did not place the bid and willing to pay $20 instead of $700. Looks like another competitor simply trying to waste my time.
Such incidents never happened with credit card verified bidder who are actually serious.
New design sucks and all sales drop.
RIP me and RIP Flippa.
YES! Daily! "We've found a match for you" bullshit.
These morons have now stopped showing the domain name on the listing page! I can't comprehend what these people are doing anymore.
Wait.. do people still go to Flippa?
Is there an alternative? beside empire flippers
used to be good but looks like no more
I agree with this. The messaging system still old-fashioned, need to refresh everytime
Their support also seems to be remotely working. I frequently noticed different response, contradict one another within the same topic question
Now they also need to verify ID, while actually they have no rights to do so
It's just not deserve to be called "escrow" for sure.
Yes soon as i read this headline i thought Ebay non payers wholesale.
Bad move in their part they have an awesome niche
I want to list the following for sale.
Want to move to different project. Honest appraisal would be fine. I've built and ranked them and have hundreds of contents.
Also want someone who can help in selling them and receive commission.
Separate names with a comma.
