Is it a good idea to search for relevant images on Flickr and then leave comments with your money site link?

For example search for facebook and leave comments on 100+ images saying

"At www.realpeterbruce.com we specialize in the best social media promotional services.
From Twitter to YouTube, iTunes to Facebook - We have it covered!"

Can this do any harm or is it just a waste of time?
Also is there a bot of faster way of posting comments?

there was a trick two months ago where you can create d()follow backlinks on flickr. Now it is gone. I didn't notice any difference actually.

Do you leave comments with your link on images?

    How many?

i just made comments with my link
I kept on spamming until they froze my account and said I can't comment for some time.
I only made comments on high pr images too.
But no increase in serps at all. Even though they were all d()follow and backlinkwatch, yahoo site explorer sees them as d()follow.

i dont think this will be too effective for getting traffic to your site because i dont think there is too much click through traffic on flickr in the first place. but it could work, give it a shot.
